Thank you! I'm in Europe/the Netherlands where a lot of these flowers are grown as garden plants. I grow Dicentra formosa/decipiens in my garden and was so pleased to see a seed pod on one of the plants you showed! I see bees around mine but have never seen a seed pod. Also loved the birdsong in the background.
I like the Coast Fawn Lily the best...so beautiful. This and many others shown don't grow where I live in the B.C. interior, so more appreciated maybe as something not seen in person.
I used to live in Kimberley and I miss the flowers that can be seen inland! I live on the coast now, but I had to go over to Vancouver island to see a lot of these - including both types of fawn lilies! Thank you so much for the comment. (I do have a Part I video which shows more of the flowers I would see inland)
These are beautiful wildflowers and you captured them so well! And thanks for putting their names. I often see some of them during my hike but I don't know their names.
These are flowers of the Pacific Northwest, which refers to British Columbia, Washington State, and Oregon. Some people include Alaska, northern California, and even Idaho in what they consider to be the Pacific Northwest. The plants listed as invasive are invasive to the best of my knowledge. The scotch broom, irises, and loosestrife are invasive to the point of being a larger concern. For example, the irises are a big concern in the lakes of Stanley Park in Vancouver.

Thank you so much Gijs!! I am glad you enjoyed it!
A nice botanical video Les. My fav would have to be trillium. We don't have them here.
Thanks so much Bob! I love those too. The ones I filmed were the first ones I've seen. I had to go over to Vancouver Island to find a lot of these!

As someone interested in linguistics I’d love to know more about the etymology of the names!

Thank you Grace! And you're welcome. I do have a part one with even more species! Hope you're having a great start to your week.
From the invasive species: could you explain where they are invasive, since we dont know where you are. 😂
Also are they really invasive or just neophytes?
