About The End, So Far:
The End, So Far is the upcoming seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. It is scheduled for release on September 30, 2022 through Roadrunner Records. The album is the band's first to feature percussionist Michael Pfaff, who joined the band in 2019, and will be the band's final album to be released through Roadrunner, whom the band signed with in 1998.
On May 19, 2021, band member Shawn Crahan stated that the band had been currently making "god music". In an article published by Loudwire on June 9, 2021, Crahan revealed that a new Slipknot album would 'hopefully' be released in 2021. He also added that the band would be parting ways with Roadrunner Records following the release of the album.
In November 2021, the band started teasing new material on a new domain thechapeltownrag.com. Several snippets of a song were shown on the website leading to speculation of a new single that the band would later confirm on November 4, with the single titled "The Chapeltown Rag" slated for release the following day alongside its live debut at the Knotfest Roadshow in Los Angeles, California on November 5, 2021. In December 2021, Taylor revealed that the band were planning on mixing their seventh studio album in January.
In February 2022, lead singer Corey Taylor announced in an interview with Eddie Trunk that the recording of the album had finished, and that it was in the process of being mixed. He described the record as a "heavier version" of their 2004 album Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses.
On July 19, 2022, the band announced the album along with the album's second single "The Dying Song (Time to Sing)". On August 5, 2022, the band released the third single, "Yen"

About Slipknot:
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011-2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013. Steele left during the recording sessions for .5: The Gray Chapter. The band found replacements in Alessandro Venturella on bass and Jay Weinberg on drums. After the departure of Jordison, as of December 2013 the only founding member in the current lineup is percussionist Crahan. Fehn was also dismissed from the band in March 2019 prior to the writing of We Are Not Your Kind and was replaced by Michael Phaff.
Slipknot is well known for its attention-grabbing image, aggressive style of music, and energetic and chaotic live shows. The band rapidly rose to fame following the release of their eponymous debut album in 1999. The 2001 follow-up album, Iowa, although darker in tone, made the band more popular. After a brief hiatus, Slipknot returned in 2004 with Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) returning in 2008 with its fourth album, All Hope Is Gone. Slipknot released its fifth studio album, .5: The Gray Chapter, in 2014. Their sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, was released on August 9, 2019.

"Yen" gives me Type O Negative vibes, and it's probably my favorite on the album.

This band evolves with every record! Even though there are similarities with every record, each one is still very unique and shows their growth over a quarter century! Metallica is very good at this as well. You can listen to everyone of their records, and they are unique from one another, but you still know it's Metallica. Don't get me wrong, I love AC/DC, but over the past 20 years they seem to release a slight variation of their previous record...which is ok I suppose. But I like to be totally surprised! " The end ' by Slipknot sounds great through the first listen, which is very surprising because it usually takes me 3 or 4 listens with any album before I understand how great it is! So I'm really expecting this one to end up in the top 3 of Slipknot albums for me. Volume 3 for me will always be #1! It's just masterfully mixed, a complete left turn from their first 2 records, but beautifully heavy and melodic, with just enough slowness to give it balance! "Iowa" and "All hope is gone" along with "the end" are #2 & #3 in some order. I still don't understand a lot of the hate for AHIG🤔... sonically it's a friggin grizzly bear 🐻! Crunching guitars, beautiful melodies, and soaring choruses, idk, I think maybe it was too much to handle for the die hards, but I love it! And I love your channel!☺️ Keep it up Roger, you have a special talent, especially for your age! I know someday you will be recognized on a much larger scale! Metallica is honestly for me another example I could’ve mentioned in this video. I love ‘Ride the Lightning’ and ‘…And Justice For All’ but ‘Load’ and ‘Reload’ have always been great in my opinion too! I’m also a huge fan of All Hope is Gone honestly. I think it has a lot of absolute bangers. I really, really appreciate the kind words! Thank you for supporting the channel!

Love this Album ! I was not expecting much from this album because I did'nt really like WANYK. But it was such a surprise ! Such a good one to me !
By the way, did you notice the miss print on the vinyle cover with the title ? "The end for now..." was the initial title till they changed it for "The end, so far". So I supposed they had already printed all the vinyles covers with the first title and had to put a sticker to fix it. Notice that on mind juste now 😆
Yes I made a video about it on my Tik Tok (@slasherpepper) lmao! They did have it printed much earlier it seems. Cause the gatefold also includes the WANYK masks from Sid, Clown, Tortilla Man, etc.

I love the new album! waiting for my copy, about aderrall, for me is like an intro track no really a song sort to speak, slipknot have done it in the past like in Vol.3 , the reast absolute bangers really please about the album!
