MMB for me, the technicality, the chords, the arrangements, plus with some of the band members missing, they did an excellent job. NOASB did good as well, but I can listen to MMB as a soundtrack and get my life!!!!

Memphis was more balanced. NOASB featuring Mello Army and Baritones 😂 They drowned the band. Both bands had mistakes like @22:34 @27:47; but listening to MMB was like listening to the radio and NOASB just playing loud as they can. Musicality beats just power! MMB and Gamb have artist sharing clips of them playing their music. What's more great than that with just weeks of practice? 1.Mmb - Had the FULL package and went to Gamb and Noasb Turf (MMB Clearly Beat Gamb) 2.Gamb - Sound GOOD but need some MILK. Arrangements could be better also. (Gamb BEAT Noasb or we can say its a TIE!!! No way you can give it to NOASB) 3.NOASB - Got the POWER But arrangements either MID or played out. NOASB didnt have a single CLEAR Victory this year in my book 🤷🏾♂️ 4. Dallas - Sounded ok. Caught me off guard. Looking forward to what they bring next year! I think Humb vs Dallas would be a great battle for next summer! #MMBSUMMERKANGZ🔥

This summer was fire for sure. But I like listening to bands that if I don't know their songs, they make me want to go back and listen to the original artist. Memphis did that for me. It may not be in this video but I had to go back and find Search and Rescue and Yebba song. Memphis hands down!!!
I know this is an excuse but man nola has a lot of kids so kidos to them bringing heat. Memphis seems to have the edge with arrangers and they have a lot of adults/current college players in thier band and they staff took advantage of that like gamb did vs nola last season. Good job both bands memphis is the no brainer winner of this battle. Again good job both bands!

I don't know what happened but MMB's energy was drained for this battle. They was nothing like they were for the GAMB battle. They were very hype and lively for the GAMB battle and i was expecting and hoping they came like that for this battle.. Not sure if it was the New Orleans heat and humidity, which is a Fking MONSTER, or they were just ready for the season to be over. I gave the win to New Orleans. Btw.. I'm gonna call this.. In a few years, Dallas may be a problem.
time and placement, Battle in No on a Friday, it would've been cool on a Saturday, most weren't missing work to make the trip, but the battle still went on

This battle escaped Memphis it seems like the longer the battle went on the more it fell apart. Those chopps we're heavy and the tongues mighty dry in the heat so instead of going for it and missing the notes be safe cause it made the music sound nasty. N.o ran away with it in the stands. Memphis sounded good in the earlier field battle stamina is a must. But Memphis dob wins for those beautiful ass horse calves shit sexy lol. Memphis a lot of your compositions we're not quite ready for battle. Both bands had some hangovers but New Orleans was a bit cleaner
Noasb is giving that all star band swagger this battle. Loud asf songs solid but not necessarily clean. MMB is more balanced every instrument is heard. They have a cleaner sound & a tricky book. Also seems they missing sum members in the trumpet section frfr. I’d have to give this slightly n I mean very slightly to Noasb. But MMB still was the best band I heard all summer band. Great battle

Memphis shouldn't have allowed new Orleans that close to them, the tubas we're stacked up and many cases you seen new Orlean band members taunting memphis tuba side. If i was the band director i would have requested atleast 15 ft minimal.

So yeah…. I was disappointed. I couldn’t find one channel to watch this battle on and fortunately I found something. Still I saw the crucial conflict episode. And from how they was talking they made it seem as if Memphis got they asses handed to them. I’m sorry I will Not sit here and believe that. Memphis was the “better” band and I mean by “better” being the most “tolerable band there. There was ups and down on both bands. I don’t know what the hell happen going towards after round 5 but both bands no…. Then To say the battle against GAMB Vs Nola was mid… I would take that battle over this. No way there should be so many errors like what I just heard. At all…even though this is all for the fun both bands made a claim They would give their best. Also both tubas please stop trying to do splits. It just seemed like after GAMB came out with parts with splits in it everyone now has a song that has tubas splitting parts. It didn’t sound good on some songs and even with GAMB too this year. Work well on individuality or at least if your going to be creative clean it up and even out the parts. Mmb : y’all were the most musical out of the bands there. The arrangements highlighted the best within their mellos, trombones and euphos. They knew how to (at times ) keep their percussions within the band. still there were annotation and phrasing issues at times throughout the band. Even with parts overshadowing others due to the lack of instrumentation and certain instruments playing at a higher volume. Tubas y’all was the highlight of the last battle against GAMB but idk what happened with the style. If your going to play a fanfare within the piece work on playing together. It’s not sounding good when Your trying to play two or three parts and their all over because the phrasing is not leveled or heard. Nola: You guys did a decent job setting the tone of the battle at the beginning but lacked keeping the understanding of volume doesn’t win battles. The most best parts came From The mellos, and euphos. Even though the even was on a Friday I was hoping the band that battle GAMB (size wise) would’ve came through with this battle and showed out. Still you guys have gave it you best. The issue last year was not enough tubas trumpets and to much percussion. Feels the same here. Not enough high brass support, no depth in tubas and 10ths drums over shallowing the band. Though your arrangements changed in style and you were the most powerful band by sound; execution, proper phrasing, clarity,attacks and releases must get worked on. The smaller things are what will make you superior in the future. (Trumpets)These kids got a chance to showcase their skills and we can see with time they will become a crucial threat in the future. Hopefully they take this experience and make the Best but also strive for better musician ship! Overall this battle was good it gives me a good ideal of what a three way battle between the three would be as for me this season it’s tied up with all the bands. Nola/MMB I know Y’all Think y’all just whooped ass all summer by all means feel How you feel but from a musical standard point and someone who loves both bands this battle didn’t live up to the hype I was hoping but it did show what we could possibly see as a all out attack on titan battle between the three top summer bands of this summer.
NOASB won the stands for sure! Summer band rankings: NOASB 2-0 MMB 1-1 GAMB 0-2 New Orleans coming with way more power than Memphis, the thing that really put New Orleans over the edge In the stands were endurance, power and cleanliness. MMB was definitely fighting, but they had some major mistakes on 2 songs at the end one where they did not know what to do when NO cut through them and just stopped playing and the very next song they played the tubas kept messing up and the trombones were out of sync. And not sure how Memphis fans are saying New Orleans ran out of songs when 1) they did not play all of their songs, some they played at GAMB. 2) after real big they played 2 more songs. 3) NOASB & MMB left he stands at the same time. I think both bands were ready to be done considering how long they been in that New Orleans heat.
GAMB literally had no influence on these people. Not power, books, arrangements, etc.. Both these programs been having good books and overall good sound the last few years before GAMB got on the scene

New Orleans coming with way more power than Memphis, the thing that really put New Orleans over the edge In the stands were endurance, power and cleanliness. MMB was definitely fighting, but they had some major mistakes on 2 songs at the end one where they did not know what to do when NO cut through them and just stopped playing and the very next song they played the tubas kept messing up and the trombones were out of sync.
And not sure how Memphis fans are saying New Orleans ran out of songs when 1) they did not play all of their songs, some they played at GAMB.
2) after real big they played 2 more songs.
3) NOASB & MMB left he stands at the same time.
I think both bands were ready to be done considering how long they been in that New Orleans heat.

GAMB literally had no influence on these people. Not power, books, arrangements, etc.. Both these programs been having good books and overall good sound the last few years before GAMB got on the scene

Crazy part is Nola had more songs left but they battle went way over time almost ended at 10pm
