I live alone so thankfully I can have the level at any I'd like. However, I find the issue is often not the volume, but the clarity. As such turning the volume up actually makes it harder as it actually makes it harder to discern the words. Having sub-titles helps me tremendously and without them I usually can't watch the program.
I live in Ireland, so unlikely I'll see you but as a new user of hearing aids thanks for the advice. Doing as you suggest does that mean I don't need to have a tv streamer?
What works better is just feeding the audio into Bluetooth hearing aids! That's one of my favorite features of my new HAs. :)
