Join us for a chat about 10 hours with the TE 300 followed by a very challenging ride. Let us know if you have any questions about the bike, or the setup!
I love watching your rides and reviews. You guys are so real, not like some who edit out the bits where they're stuck or having difficulty. Keep up the fun!. Thanks for sharing 😀
I came off a 2001 KTM 300EXC modified for racing to the 2024 TE 300 TBI . My old 300 was more powerful but a real open class beast. The 24 TE300 is soooo good . Great forks that other than oil level adjustment for better root feel and an Enduro Engineering seat mine is stock . Motor is super luggable . Literally can wheelie out of downhill rut for better line - no way on my old 300. Clutch feel is super precise and easy pull . The rear is unreal how well it tracks across slick , off camber roots . We get 50 inches of rain annually here in SC so its just awesome in slick and in super tight goat traiIs we have in enduros. Love the vids where GNCC types bash the bike . Helped me get a better deal on my bike . Oh I did add the Pro Circuit 304 spark arrestor which sounds a bit barkier than the Husky stock unit .
If you get a chance give a R&Duro EZ clutch a go. Way better engagement feel than the clake. It’s a simpler mechanical design and very adjustable. It uses the standard Brembo hydraulics so is a nice simple unit.
Thanks..I have seen them online but sadly never seen any on any bikes around here. I would love to have a go to see what the difference is like. Cheers.
Hey guys I've been searching for a low bar like you mentioned 27mm do you have a link or shop you got them from ? Live over on the Sunshine Coast and no one seems to stock them that low Cheers for any help
Hi Mate. Astra have good low bars but hard to find. Mine is the pro taper steering damper low (or close to that name) o actually think it may be more around 32.
Will you be getting the TSP head in the future? I’ve been looking at the ERM since it came out and am pretty much sold on it, but I really can’t wrap my head around a head insert that costs 220€ here in Europe
Hi Antonio. No We wont be doing the head. We talk about this in the intro chat but we did a head on a 2021 KTM300 and for us it was too much raw power. The ERM does exactly what we were after; To give us a smooth map with plenty of access to controllable power for us weekend warriors! However, if you are a gun rider that loves power on tap, then don't let us talk you out of the head. It just doesn't suit our riding. Cheers.
It will depend on what model and yes your bike is. The 25 husky has a different bolt size to the 24 for example. In the description we added a link to the product page. It can be a bit confusing but they are excellent with selling out. What bike do you want it for? Thanks.
@@HardUNduro thank you for the quick reply. But i really appreciate if you can help me here, my bike is a 2025 Husqvarna TE-300 as yours I believe, but i am having some difficulty selecting the correct part, if you could send the reference part you have used, it would help!
Mine has a 15mm pivot bolt bolt. But I would 100% measure yours to check, you never know if they mixed them up or Australia batches may differ from US etc. Hope this helps.
Mine has the same 15mm bolt, I already measured it, 100% positive it’s the same as yours, that’s why I would appreciate your help if you can just give your part number. Obviously it’s my responsibility.
Honestly both amazing bikes. The beta is way cheaper. Beta is carb, TE is fuel injected. All depends on what you like the feel off. Xtrainer is amazing (especially when suspenion is done), it's the most fun forgiving lug machine ever and the smaller frame is confidence inspiring. The TE is smooth as butter and lugs hard. You definately need to test ride them. Good luck cheers.

Legend. Yea the older carb bikes were violent! I had same experience and love the smooth lug beast and tbi now. Cheers.
Days as slippery as these at 30:00 need a 2x2 system, but they are as rare as hens teeth.
Haha yea the old Christini awd system was certainly interesting. Seems they never really got it commercially viable sadly. Cheers Legend 🍻

Al looks way too comfortable on the Husky TBI. Maybe trading in the Xtrainer soon???
Haha nah, I love the compact frame too much! Amazing bike though.

Nice video, looked very greasy.
Thanks. Yes the clay was super greasy.

Where abouts are you riding paddy swamp ?
Hi Mate. We dont usually say exactly where we ride for obvious reasons, but if you know, you know. Thanks for watching. 👍 💪
@@HardUNduro yeah 100% I feel ya might come across ya one day enjoy the ridding boys
100% definately say g'day and jump on board. The more muddy guys the better. See you out there. Cheers
Greasy clay, roots and deep ruts. Ugh!!
It was a very fun but challenging day out! Thanks for watching.
17:50 screw that!
Haha yeah it was a pretty scary section. Shame cameras never show how steep something is. Thanks for watching!
