🤩🤩 I am in awe of how talented and accomplished these guys are❣️ I’ve always wanted to visit Mongolia - these videos just make me even more fascinated by it. 👏❤
Admit it, this "Mongolian Metal" stuff is just a side hustle. Your true love is classical bassoon! I began hearing bassoon when I listened to Peter and The Wolf as a child. The bassoon is very important in that piece. Also, in the Star Wars Cantina band music, bassoons are up front and carrying. Thank you for doing these Hu We Are films. Due to bad health I will never be able to attend a live show. But these little films help me to see you all as you are; just a bunch of SUPREMELY talented, gifted people with a burning desire to SHARE!
OFC. All the Hu members are clasically trained professional Musicians from very young age. Their band producers is also very well known and respected composer in Mongolia. He wanted to challenge traditional Mongolian instrument and its musicians on the global market to see the pontential. None of them do it for prestige or money. They know that they are doing something none from Mongolia has ever done before. Their skills are not comparable to some other bands, who learnt to play instruments by themselves.
I never cease to be amazed and delighted by the depth of musical skill and humanity in these men. Thank you Davaa for the tour and bassoon playing - very beautiful. And never a me me me theme with any of you. Its always about acknowledging others for the blessings in your lives. Nice to meet you Davaa - I always look for the bass guitar in any modern music and your bass playing is great and so integral to the music of The Hu.
I love that these fantastic musicians aren't only world renown musicians, but humble music teachers in their home country. I would do anything to travel to Mongolia. Keep up all your amazing work gentlemen and i look forward to hearing more from you.
It’s all starting to make sense, Jazz is difficult to play, so is classical. These two genres and the complexity of the instruments played in the Hu band shows not only the level of skill, but the seriousness and professionalism seen in the band members. I am new to this band, but I’ve found myself hearing parts of the songs in my mind throughout some of my days and the need to hear and see one of my favorites video. I love this. The music really moves me and it brings my spirits up and gets me smiling. One cannot ask more than this, and the feeling within is simply amazing. I swear it makes me a better human.
Sain uu Gaikhaltai Davaa and Odko mash ikh bayarlalaa for showing us the heart of the music from Ulaanbaatar i know all are an amazing conservatory musician. Bravissimo for this beautiful melody with the bassoon i know that you use a "tongue" from wood for play. Bravissimo the melody with your friend at the piano who is different that the Viola. I see that all the members of the Hu plays several instruments. All the Hu are amazing. I want the best for all. Take care and healthy. Tevrelt minii naizuud mendchilgee 🤗🌼😷🌍
As Mongolian myself, we are happy to share knowledge and experience with each other. The hospitality is in our blood. 🇲🇳👏👏👏🇺🇸 Thank you very much for your interest in our culture and history through “The Hu”
Lovely to see Davaa show the rest of us around the square and the orchestra building as well as display his skill with the bassoon. Very nice bonus glimpse of Odno! Looking forward to seeing you all at the Houston show.
I'm not only impressed by their musical backgrounds, I am impressed by their open mindedness to music in general. Being a bass freak, I so wish I had had my own bass sax back in the day.
This was really heart warming, I enjoyed every part of this video, from the the city and buildings, the insides, Davaa's story and he playing that big musical instrument I've never seen before, also so nice to hear again the sound of Mongolian language. How great it would be to watch sometime some casual recordings from the orchestra with Davaa playing in there.
Mongolia is very beautiful, thank you for showing me what great country you came from, and what great culture you have through your music and other talents
It's sadly rare to hear a melody carried by the bassoon. That was beautiful. And I love how you and your bandmates have so much classical and jazz training alongside rock. If only your tour would come through my city. I'm over two hours away from Los Angeles. Maybe someday. :)
Thank you for sharing what do Davaa. Pleasure getting to see each of you in the band, it definitely brings the humanity to the band and shows your just like everyone else. Blessings.

Bassoon. What a beautiful instrument. Very nice young men Davaa and Odko. ... and Ontgonoo of course. Glad to see mongolian temple of music from internal. Salute from Adriatic, north-central-Mediterranium Sea, in front of Venice, western-istrian coast.

Thank you Daava for sharing Hu U are, love your bassoon, I played an E flat bass in a brass band when I was a young man,,, love the low notes. Stay safe in these strange times, keep them deep notes rolling.

Davaa, Thank You so much for sharing, i think as the Hu Village, we are seeing much deeper in to that which is Yu 😊 What we see on the surface is fantastic but clearly even more interesting within, Classically Trained, awe inspiring. I get that you really resonate with Bass sounds which i call Earthy, Mother Earth has a very bass sound & Jazz is tuned to certain type of folk, i love Saxophone because it takes me away to another world, instantly i feel it in my Soul, the same with Cello but Bassoon has the same Earthy characteristic of sending you elsewhere on its vibe.
