I use to have a Christmas tradition of going to my cousin's house for her annual Christmas Party, but due to the distance [she lived a ways away] holiday traffic can be hectic during the holidays, and different things going on I decided it was best that I quit going. I went for 10+ years.
A tradition that I started doing when I was a teen, is crocheting Christmas ornaments and giving them away every year for gifts at Christmas, for birthdays, and at different times of year. One of my favorites to give away is pumpkins during the fall.
It was so cute, When Jackson was playing with the magnet tiles, after he figured out that they will stick together, he put it to his nose to see if it was going to stick.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I loved your matching outfits and Ellie your pearls over the black top are a classic look that is perfect for special occasions. Girls reading this blog: it's a good idea to get pearls because they never go out of fashion.

In Germany we open all the presents at Christmasday! Most of the time late at night ( 7 or 8 o'clock) 🎅🏼🌲❤️Merry Christmas to all of you 🎅🏼🌲❤️
My family opens presents on christmas eve and then on christmas day we open stockings, have breakfast as a family then read Luke 2 and bake a birthday cake for Jesus. In the evening we each have a special present that we share, which is a talent or song or poem to celebrate being together. We've never done the santa thing, we were taught that santa is the spirit of giving during the holiday season and that we should try to keep that spirit alive throughout the year.
Aww, Jared, I love the Muppet Christmas Carol too! It might be my favorite movie of all time, actually. My mom and I watched it on Christmas Eve. The music is just so good, both the songs and the orchestration... and the message is so kind and heartfelt. Plus Rizzo and Gonzo just make the whole movie. I hope you get to watch it sometime this season!

No sé si en algun momento leerán mi mensaje pero igual quería decirles que son una muy bonita familia y que les deseo lo mejor en el mundo, gracias por hacer de mis días más bonitos y entretenidos, he empezado a quererlos mucho, su familia me recuerda mucho a mi familia cuando mis hijos eran así de pequeños, hoy el mayor tiene 15 años el del medio 13 y mi más pequeño tiene 8 añitos, mi esposo y yo tenemos 34 años acabados de cumplir y llevamos juntos desde que teníamos 14 años, si hemos estado una vida juntos y aunque aveces nos sentimos abrumados por el diario vivir nos seguimos amando como el primer día, por eso me acuerdan tanto cuando comencé a formar mi familia, así éramos, ahora tenemos un poco de menos tiempo porque el trabajo nos impide compartir más como quisiéramos y la escuela de mis niños los estudios entre otras cosas, pero en las navidades siempre estamos más que uníos. Nunca cambien y nunca pierda la comunicación los quiero mucho mucho mucho. Jackson y Calvin los amo.

One of my favorite traditions on Christmas Eve is my father reading to all of my siblings, "''Twas the Night Before Christmas"! I am the only sibling at home this year, but thanks to some awesome technology, we were able to do a hangout session so all the siblings could hear dad read the book for the 21st time!
