    The fact that he struggled as bad as he did this year is a blessing in disguise. The best possible lineup I think would be Amen, Jalen, Tari, Jabari, and Sengun. We gotta think about them at 24-25 this team will be unstoppable. I pray we don't lose anybody.

    Hats off to JG man. Really happy for him that he's doing well these past few games despite all the off court stuff that he's been having. I know we have been saying this all year, all his career even, but I hope this will be a turning point for him to becoming a legit star.

    Before anything else, thank you. I like your show. I think Jalen is also improving in his assists. It just doesn't show up because of the poor shooting of rockets. I think he is also the primary reason why Jock Landale is having a very good contribution in the offense. Finishing through contact is really better for Jelan. I think they should ask him to always pick his man from inbound. He mind wanders when he have to wait for his man. I am so excited to see everyone back.

    Great analysis - - - as usual. I can tell Jalen has been working on his game but his thin frame will always cap his potential. To be a legit starter in the NBA he's going to have to become a 37 or 38% three point shooter.

    His social activity has to be monitored during parts of the season is post Christmas a lot of players get into slumps we need to see it not become so bad for this team. We would be in the playoffs if it wasn't for that slump. He needs to get in post all star break mode for the majority and of the season and really turn it up post all star break.

He's finally learning to use his strengths and its actually his gravity he's earning thay will make any roller a threat, like harden was except jalen way faster. I like his pull ups lately. Snatch backs, because they're respecting his drive more

    Playing “playoff basketball”, I agree. Refereeing is much in favor of that style after the ASB, and statistics+ Nba FO also confirmed that.

    The difference that I see is that he seems to be able to use his change of pace to get open in traffic instead of just trying to use speed and jumping over everyone. He could do that in the "G" league but not against the elite rim protection he faces now. That is probably a sign of his learning from good coaching and should be sustainable. Go ROCKETS!!

    What changed? He's changed to a Daddy! I think he's just more involved in defense. Something he should have done on Day 1. But also, the teams they are beating are weaker teams so it is expected. When he was facing top teams, he was only efficient in 1 of 4 games. That is why even with a goo 5 game stretch, he is still 41% and 31%. It's gonna take more than 5 games to juice up those past 50 games.

      He's 22 give it some time, Jalen will not be our best player, but he will be ungaurdable in the future. I'm more interested in what Tari will become. Sengun may be a MVP caliber player ppl sleep. Yeah, Jokic is better right now, but I think Sengun has a chance to be better at least as a defender, a low post scorer and passer, he is already more creative and athletic than Joker. We are like the Nuggets, but I think our core is definitely better at this stage than what the Nuggets had this early in their careers like Jamal Murray did not have 30-30 point games at 22, Joker was good, but Sengun is on par with his trajectory, MPJ isn't a good defender like Jabri and Tari is an unknown he has an elite motor, but he could be the claw and with that motor it's a problem. I haven't even mentioned Amen yet like we have goooood problems

    It's hard for me to go all in on Jalen because he has fooled us like this before. Great insight on his pre and post all star break performance breakdown Frank. I don't believe we can make the play in. we simply allowed to many winable games to get away from us this season to overcome the setback. However pushing for the best possible record can benifit us in experience next year. While the progress didn't come as fast as we had hoped, we are seeing progress. Udoka's attempt to turn us around and set us on a winning path is finally bearing fruit. Also....while Jalen has been good lately Jabari has declined IMO. this man is 6 feet 11 inches and plays llike he is 5 feet 11 inches. he's clumsey, can't dribble to save his life and is soft as tissue paper defensively on the interior. his only contribution is rebounding and he is only average at that. a lot of focus has been on Jalen this year which allowed Jabari to fly under the radar, but his lack of growth has not gone unnoticed by me. if we are looking at trading someone he would be higher than Jalen in my book. we simply must have more production from this position than he is producing

    • @ROCKETSCHOPSHOP
      @ROCKETSCHOPSHOP  6 місяців тому +1

      I disagree with the statement that Jabari had lack of growth.. he may have grown the most on the court of all of our players. Bari was for a long stretch the worst player statistically in the nba.. he has been a positive for most of the year.. he has had slumps but I’m pleased with his development.

    Nothing has changed, it just happened that the current players coincided with an easy schedule. They even coincided with a period where even good teams dealt with injuries. By the way, another situation is that they didn't play exactly to prevent Alpi's game from shining even more. During the Allstar selection, JG almost couldn't make or didn't make any of the shots given by Alpi. If Alpi had been selected for Allstar, he would probably have cried out of ambition. In summary, I think there are meaningless team struggles within the team. These friends decided to play after it was too late. Most of these players have a mindset that cannot think like adults and appreciate the successful ones. Teenage attitudes are already expected from the G-League star. That's all, brother. You'll see what happens after the match with a real and powerful team. Let's see how far the fixture luck will go.
