Generally in Canada, licensed commercial electricians and industrial elections make the good money. Power line electricians make the most. Commercial electricians should be bringing in $40-$50 hour depending on how long they been in the trade.
Bro imma be making that senior year of highschool. Currently a junior and am taking an electrical course and 2nd half of my senior year ill be able to work during the 4hrs for that class. I’ll only have one regular high school class to take because I was on the grind freshman and sophomore year before I left my original highschool. So ill take one class in the morning then work the rest of the day. Ill also only have 3 years of apprenticeship and can be a journeyman at 21.

In europe its normal sadly, Germany beeing the nr1 apprenticeship country also switzerland.. you get paid below minimum wage to learn up to 3 years but ypu can get in any area you like… in the us these offers are more rare and mostly trades only

Where I live it doesn't matter how well you do in trade school, how quickly you learn or how hard your work ethic is. It all comes down to who you know. Don't have connections and you will never progress and will be stuck at the lowest level in your trade. The more out of the way the regulations/regulatory body is the better chance you have to actually invest in having a career

Your knowledge goes with you everywhere, a different state, different company your knowledge is your value I have the freedom to make my schedule I even take months off of work and sleep in every now and then when I'm blessed to have a lot of side jobs lined up. ⚡️🤘🏽

First introduced yourself: who you are what trade are you and what level of education completed, when, where, and why Pick 3 things to talk about: residential commercial, and industrial for example. Don’t talk about money unless that is the point of the presentation. If anything I would talk about how Journeyman treat their apprentices like competitors, and set their trainees up for failure. Maybe talk about how unsafe the job is, and how little training workers receive. maybe talk about the glass hammer and the fools errands. Maybe give some examples and some anecdotes. lol
Unfortunately in Canada, injured workers are abandoned by WCB.. Don’t ever allow yourself to be injured at work! Never allow your income to be based on your ability to perform backbreaking labour. WCB will deny your injury claims and return you to work without recovery. Which is why I abandoned my career as a red seal journeyman plumber and journeyman class b gasfitter. I am now a 39 year old university student. Stay in school kids! Never believe the propaganda of skilled trades being good jobs!! Skilled trades workers have no rights and they are exploited by their employers. I will always regret working as a plumber in Alberta Canada. Construction workers are not even entitled to employment standards like severance pay and notice of termination, no wonder nobody wants these horrible short-term jobs anymore 😂😂😂😂
Pulling wire is pulling wire. Literally what it is you pull wire from point a to point b. Its kinda like plumbing you have piping that comes in and connects where it needs to be. In electrical and data you have wires and instead of laying pipe you pull wire unless your a dope industrail spark and you lay conduit which is pipe rated for electrical wiring and then pull wire through that "pipe"

Well in Portugal a self empleyed electrician can make the same as a top engeneer. Its all about offer and demand. All the people with these skills are retiring and all the young people went to university. Saddly you pay around 10€ an hour for a guy with good skills. Its almost 3 times the minimun wage here. Sorry for my bad french 😂

He is making $30 per hour which adds up to more than 50K. 30 per hour takes home about $1500 per week. Per year = approx $70 to $100k. with overtime.
Your math is way off! Closer to 60K. Calculate it by 37.5 hours a week.
