What i firstly thought when finished Sly 4 is that the first Cooper who wrote on the Theivus Racoonus, the ancient egypt one, actually was the same Sly becoming in this way the "original Cooper" because he has never escaped from that era
imagine in sly 5. sly has the chance to defeat the people that killed his father. that would mean sly would never meet Bentley or murry.... this sounds really sad... sly would would never experience all the things that happen after...sly has to make a choice to save his father or save his friends....

I simply think that with archeologists discovering the broken part of the time machine of the paradox,Bentley could easily go back in time with that evidence
what if sly is slytenkahmen? that makes just as much sense as him escaping- and none of the other coopers have "sly" in their name, other than sly himself, and slytenkahmen. this strikes me as odd- not to mention that sly's shadow power ability from sly 2 and 3 is pretty much the same as the ability slytenkahmen "created".
I did think of this idea, but it's way too complex. If Sly is his own ancestor, then him not becoming it will erase the Coopers. I think Sly will most definitely influence Slytunkhamen. Who knows, maybe Tunkhamen was his actual name, since he meets Sly, he gets inspired and puts Sly in his name.

When I first saw the ending for Thieves in Time I screamed. I was upset as a fan, that it wasn't a "happy" ending. But I respect their decision and know that no one can change it.
It's 2021 and I still hope Sly 5 comes out. Your two theories are brilliant. Especially Sly's who asks for help through the thevious racconus. A great game could come out. Let's hope they convince themselves.
I got idea: If Sly wanted to go home, he just place his crane and lived in Egypt....for decades long time Bentley finds the news of a Egypt artifacts that really familiar of Sly's crane...Murray and Bentley steal it and send it to the past. Sly was one taught Egypt cooper all his moves until the gang shows up.
Penelope stalks Bentley and witnesses him building the new time machine. Bentley had figured out where sly is through a coded message in the TR that only he could have possibly decrypted. Penelope then destroys the new time machine as revenge for besting her, heartbroken but undiscourage, Bentley decides that it would be faster to use the original time machine, he finds an object owned by a private collector. But after the location was cased by Carmelita, he realizes that they would need a master thief with slys skills to pull it off. None of slys ancestors are up for the task because they have no experience sneaking around modern technology. Bentley realizes that the only Cooper that's up for the task is Connor Cooper, slys father. Using evidence sneaked out by Carmelita from an interpol evidence locker they go back in time and prove to Connor who they are by showing their updated version of the TR and mentioning Sly. With his agreement to join the gang, he brings sly back to his time, then sly has to make the decision to either tell his father about his upcoming death or stay quiet about it. If he saves Connor then he would have never met Bentley and Murray at the orphanage, if he doesn't tell him, sly will live the rest of his life knowing he could have saved his father's life
here's a possibility regarding Penelope. She steals the artefact and decides to travel to Egypte herself to rescue Sly in hopes of making amends for her betrayal to the gang. possible theory (She succeeds in sending sly home but ends up getting stuck in Egypt herself which at some point could lead to her becoming or having some involvement with clockwork and his metal body from Sly 1).
Penelope would have to use Bentley's time machine. If she were to time travel, I think she would rebuild her own which wouldn't require an artefact. But Penelope trying to make amends is possible.
For personal matters I want a new Sly 5 to be worked on, cooked in the oven until it's the best game ever made and that Sly can be picked up, saved, and rescued so that Sly can be reunited with his friends and family and his rival and love interest Carmelita. It's a shame that Sly is stuck in Ancient Egypt due to the cliffhanger in Sly 4 Thieves in Time and I'm hoping that the new Sly 5 game will be a great game with Sly trying to find his way back home by contacting his friends and family and Carmelita and have a good ending with Sly being back home. I so definitely want Sly to come back and gain more popularity and get lots of love and appreciation and make the franchise more popular.

It’d be coo if Sly 5 starts with Bentley going over all the Cooper ancestors he’s helped after Sly going missing. Bentleys idea was if he just continued helping the ancestors he’d eventually run into Sly because Sly would most likely go to one of there time periods and area. So for the episodes they track and help different Coopers, each Cooper would fill Sly’s roll in terms of gameplay and team member. In the last episode they go to Egypt and finally meet up with Sly who’s been living it up as Slytunkamen. Sly showed up at the same time Slytunkamen dies, so the people of the area think Slytunkamen has risen from the dead and Sly lives his life for maybe 2-3 years.
Sly lands in ancient egypt. He can't fix or pilot Le Paradox's ship. He gets an idea based on the plan the Grizz was acting on in the Ice age level. He steals a bunch of stuff to barter with some metal worker or smithy, and asks for a cane that looks like his, except made entirely out of metal. "Metal lasts, right?" He asks to have "Bentley, Murray, I'm stuck in Egypt. Use this thing to come get me." enscribed on it. He busts into a tomb or something and leaves the repli-cane message to the future in there for modern people to find, and study, and talk about in archeology journals. The cane gets put into a museam, Bentley and Murray yoink it, use it in the time machine, then Sly gets a pick up in the van. Sanzaru, Sucker Punch, whoever gets the next game, you can have that one. It's on me.
I agree with everything there is another way what if Sly writes in the Cooper Vault that is a second possibility considering his family book isn't the only source he could use so Sly will think of that on his own for the time being. Bentley working with his ex-girlfriend I doubt those two won't work together after all Penelope did betray Bentley's heart and her team for building weapons of mass destruction only for power and control she really did let go of her honor as a result. Murray is currently wrestling to lose weight incase new foes come out of nowhere he wants to get ready to help to find Sly no matter what Murray wants to be ready for anything The Murray is ready to knock down any bad guy he sees fit. Carmelita really did try apologizing to Sly until she saw the photo in the end of Sly 4 I suspect when her face turn dark it is possible Carmelita had shedded a tear knowing her obsession and suspections of him using her were wrong. Penelope will most likely be the main villain for the next installment since her escape she probably had someone to bail her out whoever helped her out will be a second antalogist as well who knows what Penelope's planning next. The hints for the next game is obvious Sly's former comrades will be there to help out where Sly is I think making it a big reunion since their time together facing Dr. M so we might find out what happens to the Cooper Clan Reunion.
Your welcome friend allow me share more two possibilities of Sly Cooper coming home think about it took me a long time since Sly 4 came an unexpected cliffhanger since then I have this crazy imagination cooking. The first theory Sly can draw his cane in egypt so his team will see it in the present making things a lot easier it will cause his enemies looking for him somewhere lost in time. Second theory Sly will most likely write in the Thievius Raccoonus leaving another message behind incase more anyone cares to look for him since new foes are yet to be confirmed.
Hmmm a lot to think about. Very interesting! It is very tricky for the gang to have a strategy to get Sly back but to not effect the past or future in a bad way.
Maybe there is a way for Sly to contact Bentley via the Thievious Raccoonus. For example, Sly could've written something in the book using a cipher or code, specifically one that he and Bentley may have come up with as kids back in the orphanage? That way only the person the message was intended for would pick up on it, even if the book was updated by multiple owners/ancestors. A longshot, I know, but mayhaps a possibility still. Who knows?

One of the best things about your videos is that in which one you can make new theory!!! Also What if Bentley makes more of the machines with the green diamond (I don't remember how they are named😅) and goes back to all the ancestors and gives one to everyone so they can search for Sly and when one of them finds him he can go to take him back. Now to include Carmelita, this theory with something more Because Sly is the thief in the gang, what if they ask Carmelita to pretend to be working in a case and say that she needs objects from all these periods. In this way she will show that she really cares about Sly❤💘💕💖💗💝💞💟💋

I think that after Sly wakes up in Egypt, he performs some sort of break-in into Slytunkhamen's pyramid, and from there, sneaks into Slytunkhamen's throne room or wherever he is, and then tries to convince him that he's a distant relative. However, Slytunkhamen doesn't believe this and orders his guards to kick Sly out. So then, that's when SLY creates the Thievius Raccoonus. He starts by having to gather the materials to make the 1st edition of the book itself, and then by writing down a couple, only a couple, of STH (Slytunkhamen) abilities, along with a coded message saying to look for him in Egypt. Then he breaks into the pyramid again, this time with 2x security, and puts the book right next to a sleeping STH. He stays and waits for STH to wake up, and makes sure that he reads it, then comes out and convinces STH that he's a distant relative. This time STH believes Sly, and continues the book. Skip to the future where Bentley finds, and decodes the message. He then puts the current edition of the book into the time machine, and doesn't end up in Egypt. Instead, he, Murray, and Carmelita end up some where in time between where Sly is, and the events of Japan from Sly 4. They then witness the copying of the Thievius Raccoonus and spot Penelope a little bit after. They have to try and steal (without Sly) the 1st edition of the book while fending off Penelope from getting to it, which they barely do. They plug in the book, and are off to Egypt to save Sly. That's how the first episode should go like. The rest of the game... IDK, maybe the main villain is Penelope and they have to defeat her. BTW, GR8 vid +VTNVIVI
Interesting! I could imagine a scene in which Sly tries to convince STH that he's a Cooper, that is definitely possible. Assuming the book was updated throughout years, the gang looking for the 1st edition is likely, I mean the 1st edition started in Ancient Egypt, they would need that to time travel like you mentioned. Penelope is considered a bad guy at this point, who knows what she could pull off. Oh and glad you enjoyed the vid :D

Penelope was sending Bentley mysterious post cards at the end, remember? So obviously they eventually get back together after some forgiveness and time and they work together to go back in time to find Sly and bring him back.
I originally thought that Sly was going to have to repair the Le Paradox blimp all on his own to time travel to the present. Considering the Thievius Raccoonus solution, I would assume that if Sly writes in the original Thievius Raccoonus, he would most likely write on a papyrus scroll and place it in the very back of the book, then cover it with a really hard material (take stone for example). On the stone, I imagine that he would carve the words, "THIS SECTION OF THE THIEVIUS RACCOONUS MUST REMAIN INTACT. DO NOT TURN THIS STONE COVERING OVER UNTIL THE YEAR 2013 AD AND ONLY READ WHAT PRECEDES IF YOU ARE A COOPER OR AN ALLY TO A COOPER." to make sure that time is not altered and only Bentley, Murray, or Dimitri will read it. On the papyrus, Sly would write, "I am stuck in Ancient Egypt in 1320 BC. I need help from my allies, Bentley, Murray, and Dimitri Lousteau. This is not the time I am from; Cyrille Le Paradox sent me here on accident. I need you to send me back to the 2010s and fast. Signed, Sly Cooper." (I'm taking assumptions that Sly 4 takes place in the year it was released when we get to the present day in Paris.)
What if Bentley could use a photograph? For example, the group shot that Sly is looking at on the balcony with Carmelita, or the photo of the kiss that Carmelita has. It would allow the others to warn Sly of Le Paradox's plan, therefore avoiding ancient Egypt altogether.
My theory is that Sly 5 could have many episodes in different time periods without Sly, and in between each episode there could be a mission in ancient egypt with Sly. And the final episode could be in Ancient Egypt as well after Bentley and the others finally locate him.
What if Le Paradox's Time Machine is still active after it broke? Maybe some important parts from the Blimp survived the crash, perhaps Sly use those and reactivated the Machine with the help of Slytunkhamen
I've come with a theory of my own of how sly can get back. What if sly finds a piece of LA paradox time machine that he had Penelope made for him, like for Instance what if soon after sly crashed in Egypt he begins to look through the wreckage and he finds a piece of it and it begins spark some electricity, but then nothing happens for the moment, sly then goes inside the tomb and finds slytukahaman and after a few adventures sly asks slytukahaman that can he help him go further In time to get him back home and gives sly a Egyptian artifact pertaining to the use of time travel and as soon as sly slaps it on there it immediately begins to spark electricity again and teleports sly futher in Time landing him in different time periods!.Think about it this could lead sly meet his other ancestors and also karin coopergigura to help sly get back home, sly 4 did say she is one of slys more mysterious Kin and a genius so she be also slys best hope to get home. for what if he lands in her time period and asks for help?.🤔
And if Penelope was blackmailed and was trying warn Bentley... I think that the movie story could be about the Sly Cooper parent's. And if there was someone behind Le Paradox, like Clockwerk. Le Paradox was trying to destroy Cooper' lineage like Clockwerk. I think that Penelope found out that Clockwerk was behind Le Paradox, or at least, who killed Sly' parents, or Clockwerk knows about the Coopers, that Sly hasn't ever realized, the secret that the Coopers were trying to protect. That would take us back to the sly cooper 1. Would finally tell us who killed sly cooper' parents, what is the connection between the Clockwerk and the Coopers. I think that, when Mugshot worked with Sly father, they became very good friends and that eventually Sly father told Mugshot the true about his lineage. After Sly father died, felt the obligation of helping protecting that secret, when Mugshot (before he was hidden because the same persons who killed sly parents and were behind Le Paradox were trying to find himself because he also knew also about that secret) knew that Sly desappeared after this events and figured that the secret was in danger because of the things happened, Mugshot went to the people that were trying to find Sly (Bentley, Murray, Carmelita, ) and told them what he knew and so they start looking for the responsible. Penelope: I think that Penelope wasn't jealous of Sly. Penelope, at some time, discover something that lead her starting to came closer to the reason of this problems or who... The person behind all of this found out that Penelope was coming closer and so because of it, that person blackmailed her with the threat of killing Bentley and that the only way of save Bentley were build him a time machine so that he could destroy Sly lineage and so Sly would never exist and that way Bentley never meet Sly and Bentley would be save. This is scenario of Sly Cooper 4... Instead of jealousy, it was a love crime. When she fights with Sly as Black Knight, she could told the real reason but because of the passion with Bentley, she thinks that kill Sly is only way to Bentley be saved. Is because of that, that she said that they could be rich because if Bentley earlier went away with Penelope, there was a chance to save him because of the money that they could get with their inventions. Sly Cooper 5 / Movie : I think that the Sly Cooper 5 or the movie could be around this story in two worlds: - 1º world: Sly friends are trying find Sly and Mugshot appeared told them what he knew (like I said before) and together start trying find the responsible(). The story would be in the chapters. In each chapter, there will be two parts: 1ºpart: Mugshot tell the part of the story of one of the ancestors of Sly (in the previous game) which explains the ancestor relation with the secret, and in this part, the player controls the ancestor now alone explaining the relation of the ancestor with the secret. 2º part: This part consist in the Sly friends and Mugshot searching the first place looking for clues of the location of the responsible. --In the next chapter, is explained the relation of another ancestor with the secret, and after Sly friends continue searching the responsible in another place. --Meanwhile, in some of the firsts places that Sly friends are searching, Penelope appears and explains his story in Sly Cooper 4, apologizing for what happened, start helping and says that there is the possibility of Sly staying alive but in another time. And so as they try to find the Clockwerk, they try find out of saving Sly. - 2º world: Sly goes to a desert and tries to survive. At some time, he discover his ancestor of Egiptian Age, explains all he and his friends had been through and his ancestor explains the secret that their lineage are trying to protect and so became master of Sly and teaches Sly so when he goes back to the present, he could save his lineage secret. In the last part, Sly friends can bring back Sly and together they go after the responsible ().
I mean, there's the possibility Sly *is* Slytunkhamen I. I know the Coopers all look incredibly similar, but Slytunkhamen I and Sly really do look alike. Also, _Sly_ tunkhamen? Really? And about the double canes, then yes, if Bentley did that then Sly would already know about them, and with the double canes in Slytunkhamen I's page in the Thievius Raccoonus Sly would already know not only to use double canes to preserve the timeline *and* he would know to start the Thievius Raccoonus in the first place! It's unlikely, certainly, but possible.

I believe Sly gave them the artefact they need to travel to Egypte. Bently found Sly's cane as well has his pouch in a little compartment of a rock/wall at the end of sly 4. I'm pretty sure they are going to use whatever thing Sly put in that pouch to get to him.
Has anyone ever thought, that Sly might not have landed in acient Egypt but in the modern Egypt because he crashed with a blimp and they were in Paris at that time (so the distance to crash in Egypt isn’t impossible)? I just thought about this so I’m not sure if there is anything that proves that he traveled back in time to acient Egypt instead of just simply crashlanding in the modern Egypt.
Can you imagine if he went back to far into previous fights like agains clock-la or clockwerk himself or maybe even against DR M. It would be so cool to have them three fights back to back and then a final boss fight perhaps? almost recapping all of the final fights

Maybe Bentley could use a penny minted the year before all of the events in Sly 4 take place and try to stop Sly from getting sent to Ancient Egypt. But this could cause problems because we don't know how the gang would react to there being 2 Bentleys.

what if sly is slytenkahmen? that makes just as much sense as him escaping- and none of the other coopers have "sly" in their name, other than sly himself, and slytenkahmen. this strikes me as odd- not to mention that sly's shadow power ability from sly 2 and 3 is pretty much the same as the ability slytenkahmen "created".
I did think of this idea, but it's way too complex. If Sly is his own ancestor, then him not becoming it will erase the Coopers. I think Sly will most definitely influence Slytunkhamen. Who knows, maybe Tunkhamen was his actual name, since he meets Sly, he gets inspired and puts Sly in his name.

When I first saw the ending for Thieves in Time I screamed. I was upset as a fan, that it wasn't a "happy" ending. But I respect their decision and know that no one can change it.

Penelope stalks Bentley and witnesses him building the new time machine. Bentley had figured out where sly is through a coded message in the TR that only he could have possibly decrypted. Penelope then destroys the new time machine as revenge for besting her, heartbroken but undiscourage, Bentley decides that it would be faster to use the original time machine, he finds an object owned by a private collector. But after the location was cased by Carmelita, he realizes that they would need a master thief with slys skills to pull it off. None of slys ancestors are up for the task because they have no experience sneaking around modern technology. Bentley realizes that the only Cooper that's up for the task is Connor Cooper, slys father. Using evidence sneaked out by Carmelita from an interpol evidence locker they go back in time and prove to Connor who they are by showing their updated version of the TR and mentioning Sly. With his agreement to join the gang, he brings sly back to his time, then sly has to make the decision to either tell his father about his upcoming death or stay quiet about it. If he saves Connor then he would have never met Bentley and Murray at the orphanage, if he doesn't tell him, sly will live the rest of his life knowing he could have saved his father's life
here's a possibility regarding Penelope. She steals the artefact and decides to travel to Egypte herself to rescue Sly in hopes of making amends for her betrayal to the gang. possible theory (She succeeds in sending sly home but ends up getting stuck in Egypt herself which at some point could lead to her becoming or having some involvement with clockwork and his metal body from Sly 1).
Penelope would have to use Bentley's time machine. If she were to time travel, I think she would rebuild her own which wouldn't require an artefact. But Penelope trying to make amends is possible.
Sly being stuck in ancient Egypt is what keeps me up at night. X_X

I think that Sly Cooper would find his parents if he tries to find a way back home
This was actually brought up by the developer once, thought it'd be too ''complex'' of a situation for the 4th game.
For personal matters I want a new Sly 5 to be worked on, cooked in the oven until it's the best game ever made and that Sly can be picked up, saved, and rescued so that Sly can be reunited with his friends and family and his rival and love interest Carmelita. It's a shame that Sly is stuck in Ancient Egypt due to the cliffhanger in Sly 4 Thieves in Time and I'm hoping that the new Sly 5 game will be a great game with Sly trying to find his way back home by contacting his friends and family and Carmelita and have a good ending with Sly being back home. I so definitely want Sly to come back and gain more popularity and get lots of love and appreciation and make the franchise more popular.

It’d be coo if Sly 5 starts with Bentley going over all the Cooper ancestors he’s helped after Sly going missing. Bentleys idea was if he just continued helping the ancestors he’d eventually run into Sly because Sly would most likely go to one of there time periods and area. So for the episodes they track and help different Coopers, each Cooper would fill Sly’s roll in terms of gameplay and team member. In the last episode they go to Egypt and finally meet up with Sly who’s been living it up as Slytunkamen. Sly showed up at the same time Slytunkamen dies, so the people of the area think Slytunkamen has risen from the dead and Sly lives his life for maybe 2-3 years.
I wonder how Slytunkhamen's son factors into all this. Afterall, the lineage has to continue.

Sly lands in ancient egypt. He can't fix or pilot Le Paradox's ship. He gets an idea based on the plan the Grizz was acting on in the Ice age level. He steals a bunch of stuff to barter with some metal worker or smithy, and asks for a cane that looks like his, except made entirely out of metal. "Metal lasts, right?" He asks to have "Bentley, Murray, I'm stuck in Egypt. Use this thing to come get me." enscribed on it. He busts into a tomb or something and leaves the repli-cane message to the future in there for modern people to find, and study, and talk about in archeology journals. The cane gets put into a museam, Bentley and Murray yoink it, use it in the time machine, then Sly gets a pick up in the van. Sanzaru, Sucker Punch, whoever gets the next game, you can have that one. It's on me.
I agree with everything there is another way what if Sly writes in the Cooper Vault that is a second possibility considering his family book isn't the only source he could use so Sly will think of that on his own for the time being.
Bentley working with his ex-girlfriend I doubt those two won't work together after all Penelope did betray Bentley's heart and her team for building weapons of mass destruction only for power and control she really did let go of her honor as a result.
Murray is currently wrestling to lose weight incase new foes come out of nowhere he wants to get ready to help to find Sly no matter what Murray wants to be ready for anything The Murray is ready to knock down any bad guy he sees fit.
Carmelita really did try apologizing to Sly until she saw the photo in the end of Sly 4 I suspect when her face turn dark it is possible Carmelita had shedded a tear knowing her obsession and suspections of him using her were wrong.
Penelope will most likely be the main villain for the next installment since her escape she probably had someone to bail her out whoever helped her out will be a second antalogist as well who knows what Penelope's planning next.
The hints for the next game is obvious Sly's former comrades will be there to help out where Sly is I think making it a big reunion since their time together facing Dr. M so we might find out what happens to the Cooper Clan Reunion.
But, is the Cooper vault in the timeline Sly is in? That's the question. Slytunkhamen the 2nd made the vault. Thank you for sharing!
Your welcome friend allow me share more two possibilities of Sly Cooper coming home think about it took me a long time since Sly 4 came an unexpected cliffhanger since then I have this crazy imagination cooking.
The first theory Sly can draw his cane in egypt so his team will see it in the present making things a lot easier it will cause his enemies looking for him somewhere lost in time.
Second theory Sly will most likely write in the Thievius Raccoonus leaving another message behind incase more anyone cares to look for him since new foes are yet to be confirmed.

Hmmm a lot to think about. Very interesting! It is very tricky for the gang to have a strategy to get Sly back but to not effect the past or future in a bad way.
It is tricky! One mistake could change everything.
Maybe there is a way for Sly to contact Bentley via the Thievious Raccoonus. For example, Sly could've written something in the book using a cipher or code, specifically one that he and Bentley may have come up with as kids back in the orphanage? That way only the person the message was intended for would pick up on it, even if the book was updated by multiple owners/ancestors.
A longshot, I know, but mayhaps a possibility still. Who knows?

Also What if Bentley makes more of the machines with the green diamond (I don't remember how they are named😅) and goes back to all the ancestors and gives one to everyone so they can search for Sly and when one of them finds him he can go to take him back.

Because Sly is the thief in the gang, what if they ask Carmelita to pretend to be working in a case and say that she needs objects from all these periods. In this way she will show that she really cares about Sly❤💘💕💖💗💝💞💟💋

I think that after Sly wakes up in Egypt, he performs some sort of break-in into Slytunkhamen's pyramid, and from there, sneaks into Slytunkhamen's throne room or wherever he is, and then tries to convince him that he's a distant relative. However, Slytunkhamen doesn't believe this and orders his guards to kick Sly out. So then, that's when SLY creates the Thievius Raccoonus. He starts by having to gather the materials to make the 1st edition of the book itself, and then by writing down a couple, only a couple, of STH (Slytunkhamen) abilities, along with a coded message saying to look for him in Egypt. Then he breaks into the pyramid again, this time with 2x security, and puts the book right next to a sleeping STH. He stays and waits for STH to wake up, and makes sure that he reads it, then comes out and convinces STH that he's a distant relative. This time STH believes Sly, and continues the book. Skip to the future where Bentley finds, and decodes the message. He then puts the current edition of the book into the time machine, and doesn't end up in Egypt. Instead, he, Murray, and Carmelita end up some where in time between where Sly is, and the events of Japan from Sly 4. They then witness the copying of the Thievius Raccoonus and spot Penelope a little bit after. They have to try and steal (without Sly) the 1st edition of the book while fending off Penelope from getting to it, which they barely do. They plug in the book, and are off to Egypt to save Sly. That's how the first episode should go like. The rest of the game... IDK, maybe the main villain is Penelope and they have to defeat her. BTW, GR8 vid +VTNVIVI
Interesting! I could imagine a scene in which Sly tries to convince STH that he's a Cooper, that is definitely possible. Assuming the book was updated throughout years, the gang looking for the 1st edition is likely, I mean the 1st edition started in Ancient Egypt, they would need that to time travel like you mentioned. Penelope is considered a bad guy at this point, who knows what she could pull off. Oh and glad you enjoyed the vid :D

I originally thought that Sly was going to have to repair the Le Paradox blimp all on his own to time travel to the present. Considering the Thievius Raccoonus solution, I would assume that if Sly writes in the original Thievius Raccoonus, he would most likely write on a papyrus scroll and place it in the very back of the book, then cover it with a really hard material (take stone for example). On the stone, I imagine that he would carve the words, "THIS SECTION OF THE THIEVIUS RACCOONUS MUST REMAIN INTACT. DO NOT TURN THIS STONE COVERING OVER UNTIL THE YEAR 2013 AD AND ONLY READ WHAT PRECEDES IF YOU ARE A COOPER OR AN ALLY TO A COOPER." to make sure that time is not altered and only Bentley, Murray, or Dimitri will read it. On the papyrus, Sly would write, "I am stuck in Ancient Egypt in 1320 BC. I need help from my allies, Bentley, Murray, and Dimitri Lousteau. This is not the time I am from; Cyrille Le Paradox sent me here on accident. I need you to send me back to the 2010s and fast. Signed, Sly Cooper." (I'm taking assumptions that Sly 4 takes place in the year it was released when we get to the present day in Paris.)

What if Bentley could use a photograph? For example, the group shot that Sly is looking at on the balcony with Carmelita, or the photo of the kiss that Carmelita has. It would allow the others to warn Sly of Le Paradox's plan, therefore avoiding ancient Egypt altogether.

My theory is that Sly 5 could have many episodes in different time periods without Sly, and in between each episode there could be a mission in ancient egypt with Sly. And the final episode could be in Ancient Egypt as well after Bentley and the others finally locate him.

I've come with a theory of my own of how sly can get back. What if sly finds a piece of LA paradox time machine that he had Penelope made for him, like for Instance what if soon after sly crashed in Egypt he begins to look through the wreckage and he finds a piece of it and it begins spark some electricity, but then nothing happens for the moment, sly then
goes inside the tomb and finds slytukahaman and after a few adventures sly asks slytukahaman that can he help him go further In time to get him back home and gives sly a Egyptian artifact pertaining to the use of time travel and as soon as sly slaps it on there it immediately begins to spark electricity again and teleports sly futher in Time landing him in different time periods!.Think about it this could lead sly meet his other ancestors and also karin coopergigura to help sly get back home, sly 4 did say she is one of slys more mysterious Kin and a genius so she be also slys best hope to get home. for what if he lands in her time period and asks for help?.🤔

Le Paradox was trying to destroy Cooper' lineage like Clockwerk.
I think that Penelope found out that Clockwerk was behind Le Paradox, or at least, who killed Sly' parents, or Clockwerk knows about the Coopers, that Sly hasn't ever realized, the secret that the Coopers were trying to protect.
That would take us back to the sly cooper 1.
Would finally tell us who killed sly cooper' parents, what is the connection between the Clockwerk and the Coopers.
I think that, when Mugshot worked with Sly father, they became very good friends and that eventually Sly father told Mugshot the true about his lineage.
After Sly father died, felt the obligation of helping protecting that secret, when Mugshot (before he was hidden because the same persons who killed sly parents and were behind Le Paradox were trying to find himself because he also knew also about that secret) knew that Sly desappeared after this events and figured that the secret was in danger because of the things happened, Mugshot went to the people that were trying to find Sly (Bentley, Murray, Carmelita, ) and told them what he knew and so they start looking for the responsible.
Penelope:
I think that Penelope wasn't jealous of Sly. Penelope, at some time, discover something that lead her starting to came closer to the reason of this problems or who... The person behind all of this found out that Penelope was coming closer and so because of it, that person blackmailed her with the threat of killing Bentley and that the only way of save Bentley were build him a time machine so that he could destroy Sly lineage and so Sly would never exist and that way Bentley never meet Sly and Bentley would be save.
This is scenario of Sly Cooper 4... Instead of jealousy, it was a love crime.
When she fights with Sly as Black Knight, she could told the real reason but because of the passion with Bentley, she thinks that kill Sly is only way to Bentley be saved. Is because of that, that she said that they could be rich because if Bentley earlier went away with Penelope, there was a chance to save him because of the money that they could get with their inventions.
Sly Cooper 5 / Movie :
I think that the Sly Cooper 5 or the movie could be around this story in two worlds:
- 1º world:
Sly friends are trying find Sly and Mugshot appeared told them what he knew (like I said before) and together start trying find the responsible().
The story would be in the chapters. In each chapter, there will be two parts:
1ºpart: Mugshot tell the part of the story of one of the ancestors of Sly (in the previous game) which explains the ancestor relation with the secret, and in this part, the player controls the ancestor now alone explaining the relation of the ancestor with the secret.
2º part: This part consist in the Sly friends and Mugshot searching the first place looking for clues of the location of the responsible.
--In the next chapter, is explained the relation of another ancestor with the secret, and after Sly friends continue searching the responsible in another place.
--Meanwhile, in some of the firsts places that Sly friends are searching, Penelope appears and explains his story in Sly Cooper 4, apologizing for what happened, start helping and says that there is the possibility of Sly staying alive but in another time. And so as they try to find the Clockwerk, they try find out of saving Sly.
- 2º world:
Sly goes to a desert and tries to survive. At some time, he discover his ancestor of Egiptian Age, explains all he and his friends had been through and his ancestor explains the secret that their lineage are trying to protect and so became master of Sly and teaches Sly so when he goes back to the present, he could save his lineage secret.
In the last part, Sly friends can bring back Sly and together they go after the responsible ().
I really hope they start Sly Cooper 5, we really miss him!

And about the double canes, then yes, if Bentley did that then Sly would already know about them, and with the double canes in Slytunkhamen I's page in the Thievius Raccoonus Sly would already know not only to use double canes to preserve the timeline *and* he would know to start the Thievius Raccoonus in the first place! It's unlikely, certainly, but possible.

Has anyone ever thought, that Sly might not have landed in acient Egypt but in the modern Egypt because he crashed with a blimp and they were in Paris at that time (so the distance to crash in Egypt isn’t impossible)? I just thought about this so I’m not sure if there is anything that proves that he traveled back in time to acient Egypt instead of just simply crashlanding in the modern Egypt.

Maybe Bentley could use a penny minted the year before all of the events in Sly 4 take place and try to stop Sly from getting sent to Ancient Egypt. But this could cause problems because we don't know how the gang would react to there being 2 Bentleys.

Hers my theory... Do what Sonic did in the TV series. Write a message on a pyramid, Sphinx, pillar, or something that will still be there to in 2017+
