Daniel Radcliffe is a genuinely nice person. It must be SO tedious and wearying to have to do interview after interview so often, yet each time he is professional, articulate, witty and polite. I love his Richard Harris anecdote. The world is a better place for having Daniel Radcliffe in it.
i love seeing dan getting excited whenever he talks about his time working with gary oldman, im so happy he got such an amazing experience working with him, he deserves the world.
''You know when the remote control is just a little bit far away and you can just ge- and- WAIT BUT ACTUALLY THEN HOLD ON WHAT IF THE WAND IS TOO FAR AWAY?!'' ''What about the lucky potion?'' ''THAT'S NOT A SPELL, THAT'S A POTION!'' *OBVIOUSLY YOU BLOODY PIECE OF MUGGLE*
Jesus christ! When he says that gary oldman died my heart nearly stopped... before i realised he was talking about sirius. I was so ready to fall apart
i love the fact that he knows the film and book very well.. he can distinguish spells and potions and knows what they can do.. he is so passionate about the movie
He is very thorough, but it seems like his mind is trying to say a few things at once, so he talks quite fast. That shows he is very intelligent and loves to prove things right.
Oh, I just love this guy! Dan's relationship with Gary is just so adorable, not meaning to patronize, but it so sweet! What an amazing "world" these films have created, in addition to the "world" already created by JK Rowling, it is fascinating!
oh my goodness i just love dan SO MUCH! i just LOVE how him and gary have such a GREAT GREAT GREAT relationship!! its so sweet and adorable!! and dan is just SO kind and the most down to earth actor ive ever seen!! and thats why hes always gonna be MY #1 idol ive always looked up to since i was a little kid. and he always will! dans shown me that through the years...
Err, if you want the remote to come flying at your head, then Accio would be good. But *W*ingardium Leviosa would be better if you want it to be a bit slower.
OH how I wish more people around ME had a vocabulary and a way of explaining themselves more like his!! He, his mates and others in his career path seem to have an extraordinary way with words and a better knowledge of inner language. Will have to find some Aussies to listen to today too!
He seems to be such a lovely and smart person. Not to mention that he's so cute and his eyes are abslolutely amazing ;) I just wish he has a very long and fantastic acting carrier lying ahead.
Whilst I never really get immersed into his emotional scenes, I think he did embody Harry well as the awkward, modest 'everyman' character as he seems quite down to earth and sincere in his interviews etc overall, and can see the guy is pretty humble despite all the trappings of fame.
Daniel Radcliffe is so cool. I managed to do some bed sharing with him in a fantasy I had last year in the summer. It was made into a music video called "Magic Arms" which told the story of Hope Feelgood and Harry Potter falling in love with each other face to face magically.
The lady was quite stupid if the "Lucky POTION" had potion in it and she called it a spell. I really love how he sometimes stutters and how he taps his legs on set and in interviews. He's just a really good actor in my opinion and I really wonder how people say Harry Potter is boring.
Harry was _not_ manipulative, and neither was he selfish. He had his flaws, but he was not manipulative. Dumbledore was manipulative, and Snape to an extent, but Harry was selfless and in terms of manipulation, well, he did what he could to not be. When manipulation was necessary, he did manipulate others to an extent, but reluctantly, and he would have had them do so willingly if he could have. And as for your comment on him being selfish... _How_? He hated others fighting for him and he never wanted anyone else to get hurt. He willingly walked to his death in Deathly Hallows just so that nobody else could die 'for him'. I guess that you might call him selfish in the sense that he managed to blame himself for all of the deaths, but I don't think that that makes him selfish. If you were the symbol of a war and you were partially responsible for the war starting (not on purpose, obviously), wouldn't you feel responsible for everyone fighting on your side? That they were almost fighting _for_ you and not _with_ you? In Harry's position, I would have felt guilty about the deaths as well. You can't fault his character for that; he's only human, as are you or I.
I agree. Harry was not selfish at all. He despised it when people sacrificed themselves for him. In the Order of the Phoenix, he hands over the prophecy to Lucius Malfoy even though he knew that Voldemort was after it. And why did he give it then? Well, he gave it for his friends! The Death Eaters had taken ahold of all his friends. Lucius asked him to give it or his friends would die. And he gave it, for them. In the Deathly Hallows, he loathes seeing everyone sacrificing their lives for him. As he entered the Forbidden Forest to confront Voldemort and die, he sees the ghosts of his parents, Sirius, and Lupin to whom he says “you did not have to die for me,” or something like that. He was incredibly selfless. Whereas when we talk about him being manipulative, he was, but to a certain extent. And, as you have said, he only manipulated people whenever necessary.
Daniel has dyspraxia- Nice to know that even somebody playing such an iconic character as Harry Potter, has a disability, or as I like to call it now, diverseability.
WHY HAVEN'T THEY INTERVIEWED RUPERT GRINT? He's such an amazing actor but he rarely gets the recognition he deserves. I love Dan and Emma as well, really. But come one...
"That's not a SPELL, that's a POTION."
God, I love him. Also, didn't he sound a bit like Hermione then? Lol.
She would be proud.
Daniel Radcliffe is a genuinely nice person. It must be SO tedious and wearying to have to do interview after interview so often, yet each time he is professional, articulate, witty and polite. I love his Richard Harris anecdote. The world is a better place for having Daniel Radcliffe in it.
Absolutely.
true
Walter Mabry his character in NYSM 2 should wear glasses.
British actors are really polite. I've seen many british actors being interviewed and many of them talked really politely
Oh my God, i just love him. He *so* is Harry. "That's not a spell, that's a potion." Snape taught him well!
i love seeing dan getting excited whenever he talks about his time working with gary oldman, im so happy he got such an amazing experience working with him, he deserves the world.
It feels weird to hear Daniel speak of Harry as another person.
Finally someone who understands me
"That's not a spell, that's a Potion!"😂☺
Harry's hair here is perfect than the movie half blood prince
Charming Dan once again! He's very good at answering questions because of his genuine personality and knowledge of what to say.
Daniel Radcliffe seems like that guy you just want to hang out with.

“That’s not a spell, that’s a potion.” The annoyance on his face was clearly visible. 😂
Something about “that’s not a spell that’s a potion” being the most replayed moment makes me crack up.

There was some sass in that "That's not a spell, that's a potion" hahaha I love that
i love the fact that he knows the film and book very well.. he can distinguish spells and potions and knows what they can do.. he is so passionate about the movie
He is so wonderfully human and intelligent. I don't think anyone could have played Harry better.
He is very thorough, but it seems like his mind is trying to say a few things at once, so he talks quite fast. That shows he is very intelligent and loves to prove things right.
Love Dan!! Perfect in every way possible!
Oh, I just love this guy!
Dan's relationship with Gary is just so adorable, not meaning to patronize, but it so sweet!

i love this guy. as a person and an actor. perfect person to play harry.
His self deprecating humour is really charming. Obviusly a bright and well balanced young man. It will be interesting to follow his future career.
i adored Gary Oldman as Sirrius. i cried when he died - in both the book and the movie.
I love Daniel the way he puts things.Great story teller and hilarious!!!!Love him!!!!

Ahaha, his voice talking to Gary Oldman is hysterical! And I love his little Freudian comment there.
5:05 gold
Her intonation when she states, who is asking the question and where they are from, is like she expects him to respond.
I would choose the spell "Imperio" or "Obliviate" , that would be the best ones.
So what you're saying is that you're a very controlling/manipulative person??
Vousie V I try my best.
hes absolutely fascinating
I have never seen a Harry Potter movie nor have I ever read a Harry Potter book. Daniel Radcliffe is a freakin' genius.
5:02 "What if the wand was too far away?!" This guy gets it :)

I died slightly when he talked about Gary
Daniel has dyspraxia- Nice to know that even somebody playing such an iconic character as Harry Potter, has a disability, or as I like to call it now, diverseability.
idk who Gary Oldman was referring to but i personally think that Viggo Mortenson would have made a better Sirius Black
omg im in loveeee
ahhahhaaa I cant stop replaying the 'thats not a spell, thats a potion' bit! the disgust in his voice gets me every time XD
"That's not a spell, that's a potion!'' Lol he seemed like he got offended.
