Dan's dyspraxia doesnt do anything but cause him slight difficulty when it comes to hand/eye coordination. But his tangents are because he's just such a hyper person in real life. It's just his personality. I love it!
He has about three or four words he uses all the time about everything: amazing, incredible, amazing, incredible....etc., etc. In between he mainly stutters.
It is said very clearly that he wrote the poem. He wrote four poems under a pseudonym, Jacob Gershon, but then admitted JG was he himself. TrannyDan wrote "Away Days", no doubt about it. He says he wants to be a poet among other things. His picture is beside the poem.

There are different versions of it, but the one Dan has or had is a mild case in which he has some difficulty with movements that require hand/eye coordination like tying his shoes, writing, etc. It also affects your focus a little bit just like ADHD. But I think it affected Dan worse when he was younger. I don't think he really has it anymore.

Dan seems even shorter than Regis -- notice Dan sitting on the high stool with his legs dangling and feet not touching the spokes. I'm surprised he didn't mention it, because he's usually so self-conscious about his height.
