I was told years ago by my therapist that when I learned to be comfortable with ambiguity that life would be less stressful. Growing up in Mormonism where every question had an answer and things were definitely black and white, it took time when I left the cult to begin to accept my imperfections as a human being and begin the process of healing from the message that I was not ok nor could I ever be ok without the church. Life is so much better now without the stress of Mormon perfectionism. Thanks again, I really appreciated this discussion.
She was awesome! What a good podcast. I didn’t realize how important the positive self talk is on our bodies way down to the cellular level. It was a good message also to keep thinking about the positive reward and growth that’s waiting for us on the other side of our fears (while we are in the middle of striving through life’s challenges). Good points 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@ 37: mark Sounds a lot like my Al Anon program. Knowing what we can and can’t control and fully accepting the reality of what is. Great episode. Thank you!
Excellent information. I appreciate the idea that uncertainty is inherent in being human, so learning to accept rather than fight uncertainty can be useful for our overall wellbeing. Just one of the many helpful points in this podcast.

Great episode, and as usual providing a different kind of viewpoint!
