I love finding vintage american made outdoor gear. From 1950's hunters vests, 1970's pom-pom skiers beanies, watchman beanies, fishermen's sweaters, plaid vintage peneltons, flannels with early patterns. I find nostalgia in these items. Plus those early color combinations are so reflective of today's fashion mood.
I recognize that nursery cart immediately. That’s what they looked like when I first became a nurse “some” years ago 😉. Having worked in a hospital my whole career, I can’t imagine wanting to repurpose any hospital equipment. So many germs! I don’t even take my clothes/shoes in the house, much less a big piece of equipment with lots of nooks and crannies.
I love buying clothes because I get almost every peice for $1, including all coats even named brand & leather. That being said, they are my Achilles heel because I despise listing them, which is why I have 20-30 totes full. Best find was for my daughter. It was a velvet Nightmare Before Christmas coat. I paid asking price, but I knew it wouldn't be there even when it dropped to 1/2 off & the look on her face made it worth every penny!
I love your doggy and that her name is Durian. Lol. I’m familiar with durians-my husband is a produce guy. Your channel is so entertaining-and is one of my favorites! I hope your channel starts to get discovered more as you deserve a lot more followers!
My fav in clothing is vtg night gowns and jackets. Yes that navy jacket is awesome! Your poor little pooch was worn out, you need to buy a pooch holder carrier I know they must have them you just strap it on you and carry that baby around!! 🐶💕 put a diaper on her they got those too lol can't wait for the next video on trip🤗🤩 TFS Dustin
That was a super fun little shopping day! Great finds! That jacket could possibly be worth more than that. Our neighbor found one - leather like that that he put on auction and got $480. But the red glass lantern right next to the pewter wizard!!! I got one like that at an estate sale for $10 and sold it for $100. I would have loved to know what they wanted. The red glass ones are great and people buy them sometimes just for the red glass part (if it’s in good shape). So nice you included your baby! ❤️
Hello! Is Durian stinky but sweet?! I love her. 😂 I laughed when you told her she was staying in the car but your valuable backpack was going with you. 🤣 I thrift 95% of my wardrobe. So that’s what I look for. I don’t have the greatest knowledge is sellable clothing. Although I have sold some fancy vintage hats. ☺️
Lets just hope that tissue was just well worn from being carried- but clean. The most profitable clothing item I have picked up was a handful of women's long sleeve bohemian style shirts - Johnny Was Brand. Sold for over $100 each used. But the clothing I like to look for is retro 70s psychedelic colors and patterns.
I have been dealing vintage clothing since 1992 along with a lot of other things, but I started with vintage Aloha Shirts because I was living in Hawaii at the time, and I hit up all the thrift stores on a regular basis. It's hard to pick one thing because I just don't remember everything. But the one item that I have in inventory now that I think is really cool is an early 60s red wool Boy Scout jacket full of old patches with dates on them, I think about 25 patches in all. Some of the patches are worth decent money by themselves. I paid $80 and it is worth $300 - $400 to the right buyer. I have sold a lot of older scouting and YMCA Indian Guide items over the years and some of the older scouting tees from the 60s and 70s go for well over $100. Also, military related items from WW1 to the Vietnam War era are doing fantastic. Especially if they have all their original patches and can be attributed to a specific person with documentation or what we call a "Named" or IDed collection.

I have 2 framed portraits of different women. One is watercolor and the other is oil on wood, I think.

I collect vtg old man patch jackets. I mostly find old crushed cigarette packets in the pockets. Lol
Awesome video :)
You look good in the Navy jacket. The tissue was gross. Lol
Interresting finds! How did you get to be so knowledgable? Do you have a degree in 'antiques'?
Ok so your here in Connecticut!!! You should stop by here in Sandy hook, you can pick my unlisted inventory lol😆😂
Oh and I go picking with you! Think we could give each other knowledge!
You don't need a tray for that hospital cart for a baby. It has a perfectly good drawer to toss it into
I once found a Vintage pair of jeans with Woodstock photos printed on them, I sold them for $125. They were too small for me.😒
How old is your dog? She is adorable 😍
I'd be interested to know where you are adventuring, if you're willing to share.
I need to ask where you sell these on?
In the Midwest I hardly see anything from Africa and most of the Asian items say ‘made in China.’
