Very nice vehicle, enjoyable to watch all the new technology in cars and trucks these days. Nice video. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it and there is more to come. Thank you for your kindness and support
Greetings from North Carolina! Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I’ve been thinking about the Maverick since its debut but demand and its initial limited production drove the price up. Even with production meeting demand, used Mavericks still command a pretty price which makes buying new more attractive. I generally buy used to avoid the large dip in depreciation but the Maverick seems immune. What say you? On another wave length - I assume that you’re in Quebec. Are speed bumps that common on what appears to be a main road (50 km/h - 30 MPH)? I’d be complaining to Legault about that 😉 Oh - finisher!
You bring up great points about speed bumps. They randomly got thrown on thst road because of the wealthy homeowners. Then again the last 10 years Québec has been all about adding stops signs and speed bumps while acting like carbon will end the world in 5 years. Drinkers of the Greta lemonade, me thinks. Maverick depreciation will start soon as inventory builds to more normal levels. So getting a used at the right price is a good idea or new of the interest rate makes it worthwhile
Thank you for taking the time to watch and drop an excellent comment with an excellent question. We really appreciate it
Also Is we love north carolina
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews Love the Greta remark but somehow she would find fault with the way the sugar (lemonade) is produced. I live in Wilmington and we have an obsession with stop/traffic lights - they seem to be the solution for everything here. To be fair, the growth in the area took off so quickly in the late 80s through the 90s (after I-40 was built) and onward it caught a lot of people off guard; so the old laid back way of running things was slow to change. I would love to visit Quebec (and New Brunswick) as I am a francophone though outside of Montreal and Quebec City the Quebec accent is strong. I lived in France (2 years during President Mitterrand ) and was married to a French woman for six years. I tell people that 8 years of French in school taught me French but being married to one taught me how to argue in French. Anyhow, thank you for the quick response and your perspective on the future Maverick market. I will wait and see, thus continue to drive my '15 Chrysler Town & Country till the wheels fall off (it's done very well so far). I'm subscribed and eagerly await your next installment - A la prochain.
RECALLS are kiling Ford and this vehcile. I have one here in NC and am ,ooking to sell when I can get the price I am looking for. Too bad to as the CONCEPT is great, no so much of Ford's execution
Good evening Folks
Howdy!
I hope everyone is healthy and well
Love the green.
I completely agree with you. I find that green goes very well on the bronco, but it might look even better on the maverick
Did anyone flash you with the auto high beams? I'm curious lol ... Great review !! A+ I actually dig the power plant... I think it's well suited !!

Thank you so much for the kind words, and for trusting me with your question. No one flashed me the auto hide beams, did an amazing job. I appreciate that. You took the time to drop a comment. Thank you again, and I hope to hear back from you soon
I wonder how the Santa Cruz compares LOL 😂
@@FordEnthusiast413 The Santa Cruz is so hideous … is anyone even buying those short of very steep discounts? Here in import crazy California; I see about 20 Mavericks for every Santa Crud.
That dealer sticker on tailgate would drive me insane.. mine respected my request to not put one on
You asked about engine sounds. I know you are in a Hybrid, but I’ll tell you about my Ecoboost AWD. Compared to my ‘22 Eco AWD, I traded in, the ‘25 exhaust is noticeably louder. When cold, very loud. Which I wouldn’t mind, but it drones when maintaining speed. I couldn’t tell in your video, but with mine, there are these little ‘tabs’ near the top of the light. Look like little spots. The ‘25 Tremor at dealer was the same on both accounts.
Mabcim thank you for the added information. I appreciate all your help and support
My 2023 Lariat 2.0l awd ecoboost is quite buzzy when it is cold outside but is quieter when the engine is fully warmed up or the weather is hot.
Excellent Video
Thank you very much!
I love that green.
Same. It's incredible
Will it last
Any chance you can show the lariat headlights at night, please? The xl/xlt lights look decent, but projectors are almost always better.. I just wonder how much better.
Also, have you driven a 2024 or older maverick at night? If so, any noticeable difference in the xl/xlt headlight output on the 2025 or just the design is different?
Yes, the 2025 Ford Maverick features improved headlights compared to the 2024 model. The 2025 Maverick comes standard with redesigned LED headlamps, and higher trim levels are equipped with LED projector headlamps accompanied by LED running lights. These enhancements not only provide a fresh look but also offer better illumination and visibility. The 2025Headlighrs seem better than the 2023 xlt that we owned. The XLT 2025 headlights were excellent and do not need to be any better but looks like you get more performance out of the Lariat. I'll try and do video on thariat when I have an unsold one available so subscribe and turn bell notifications on.
@Johnnyscarcarereviews thanks!
which trim were you driving?
The XLT. Thank you for watching, and thank you for your question
My 2023 AWD Lariat does quite well in the snow but the Michelin all season tires leave a lot to be desired in the winter.
Bob, thank you very much for taking the time to watch the video. And I really appreciate that you dropped a helpful comment. Thank you for helping the community out
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews Thanks Jonny. My 2023 Lariat has a heater in the windshield for the wiper park position and it came with a power sliding rear window. Can you confirm if the 2025 Lariats and Tremors have either of these features. The Build and Price only says sliding rear window and I can find no reference to the heated windshield.

Make it this far... Finisher!
Thanks Mate.
Awesome to see you here.
Please post the carseat video sooner rather than later. Please and thank you :)
Thank you Derek. I should have this up for this weekend.
🎉🎉🎉
Hey Jonny! Did you see the new gt350? You’re going to have to convince Marie how important it will be to get one😂👍
Lol. Graveyard it looks good but I still really like my 2017. Already the power is borderline too much
ive noticed there are no front tow hooks on the 2025's. can they be installed ?
It would require cutting and even then I'm not sure they can be. Now the Tremor has them from.recollection so I'd check that out
Anyone figured out if there is an intelligent awd screen or did they forgo that with this model?
I didn't see it stefanfreeman
Is this an XLT or Lariat that's being driven?
We test drive them XLT. Green at beginning is a Lariat. I wanted to compare a little, and could only drove the XLT for the time being
How is the ride quality of the Maverick???
Far from a Lincoln but good for the price. It drives a lot like the Escape or Toyota RAV 4.

Thank you so much for the support and for dropping a comment. It's very kind that you do so and it is appreciated
$45,000??? No thanks
@@marks6072 I think that is Canadian $ 's.
Canadian. Not USD. Middle of the video i show the USD prices starting at roughly 26k before transport and delivery ofcourse...Argh manufacturers prices. Lol
Worth every penny the hybrid is excellent 50 mpg I received this summer and 40 in winter driving.
