I am rectangle and love high rise, straight leg jeans.
the only thing I disagree on is that skinny jeans look good on all shapes. I have thicker legs and they make me look like an exclamation point, they don't look good on me. I don't think people who are pear shaped look good in skinny jeans either, they don't give my shape any balance, they just exaggerate how thick my legs are.

Well most people love thick legs and butt. I don’t know why some women like to pretend having curves is a bad thing that they have to hide but for the rest of us that aren’t delusional we know our curves look great in skinny jeans.
You not feeling comfortable in them is very different than you not looking good in them. Other probably think you look just fine but it’s important to feel comfortable so I get it.
Agreed. I’m a pear with short legs. (25) This only makes my legs look shorter and thighs huge which ends up looking out of proportion. I love curves but skinny jeans are a hard pass.
For real? I have a pear body shape and only skinny jeans look good on me, other types of jeans make me look very fat (I'm 1,74m and 71kg)
I love low rise jeans
The wide leg jeans with the sneakers and tiny top brought me back to the early 90s! I remember that being so popular. I'm a short waisted apple/rectangle shape. I've found the best jeans for me are the mid-rise Boyfriend Jean from Torrid, I wear them unrolled.

I’ve recently been into the Good American jeans and they are fantastic. The Good Waist cropped style are amazing for me. I’m 5’2 and a little on the thicker side. The rise is perfect and they hit right at my ankle. I have searched high and low for the perfect jeans and I believe these are it!

I have been buying Loft petite curvy jeans for decades. No gaps, affordable, good quality, and make most of the styles and shades in curvy petite. They used to make a perfect pair of curvy straight but kind of cut back on the style in recent years. Really was a perfect universal everyday jean cut. Looks like they are moving away from too many skinny’s and selling more bootcut, wide legs and girlfriend/boyfriend styles so hoping they will bring back the straights. In the meantime I have been buying Levi’s curvy straight and bootcut and they fit well.

I'm an hourglass and love a skinny jean....one of the best brands I've ever found is Frutilla from Columbia. They are very very well made and perfectly fit the narrow waist and wider hips of the hourglass

Okay, THIS is what I’ve missed on your channel! Love these types of videos. Maybe next time when talking about different body shapes, have some friends model the jeans with you to show how they flatter all shapes? I mean, they obviously all look so good on you. But do you know what I mean? You’re just showing the bottom half so it would sort of be anonymous. Or maybe do a collab with others of different shapes?

Thank you so much.I just came upon this video.And I have been looking for jeans for like a month.Can't really find anything.I love I bought before dress bar jeans classic fit but since they close and went out of business it's hard to find another pair so I haven't bought any for a long time
I love high rise not super high, I've bought the slim straight which I really like I'm hourglass so I get curvy fit. I'm not crazy about wide legs because they make me look bigger than I am, i still wear my skinny jeans also, I put longer tops which makes them look better on me.

This was an excellent visual display of the body types and modeling of the jeans. I'm an inverted triangle, 5'7", wearing size 28 (6-8) and 32" inseam (34" with boots). I Love the look of the High-Rise Levi Ribcage Jeans, but they are only 27" inseam. Anything equivalent for longer legs (not into crop or high-water jeans)? Great video.
As a inverted triangle girlie with a small waist I find low rise bootcut to be the best jeans I have ever tried on!! Its soso flattering for my upper body and it makes my legs and non existent ass look really good

I’m 5’2” and 125 lbs. I’m an apple shape with narrow shoulders and thick legs. I will NEVER wear cropped pants because my ankles are thick.
I couldn’t get my legs into skinny jeans if I tried! High rise would probably come up to my bra, lol.
I have been wearing flared jeans for years, but now my favorites are Agolde 90’s mid rise loose fit. Unfortunately, almost every wash in that style was very distressed. I really don’t like jeans with holes, just not my thing. Each washing makes them fray more, and since I have dogs, I do need to wash my jeans frequently.
I will check out some of the styles you showed.

Shea, I ordered the wide leg ribcage Levi’s jeans you recommended using your link here. I’m the same height as you (5’5”) but they are longer on me than they look on you. Did you have yours hemmed or did they shrink in the wash? I prefer 30in inseam but they only have 32 inch inseam.
The curve love jeans from. Abercrombie are great option for curvy girls. Fit well at hip and butt and the quality is great!

Im 5’3” and flared jeans look awful on me and are always miles too long. Im a skinny jean gal but also love a hood boot cut jean. The illusion of being taller with a slight flare at bottom is legit! Not sire if im a apple or hourglass shape, maybe a mix of both! I also thought i was a short torso because some jeans come up so high that when i sit down they hit my ribcage and are so uncomfortable. Maybe i need a mid rise. Any jeans with a nice mid rise?

I do have a short torso, but high rise look and feel the absolute best on me. It hits the perfect spot on my waist and gives the illusion of more defined curves than i actually have lol
I think low rise looks good when you've a short torso long legs. But I'm short torso and short legs so low rise it doesn't anything good for me.

I can't decide if im pear or rectangle, i look terrible in flares and wide legs though, i know that. I not overweight but my waist is not slim, but i dont have a tummy. Upper body carries no fat. There wasn't a type of jeans suggested for rectangles was there? That was going to help me decide!
As a rectangle myself, the jeans that look best on us are mid rise and low rise. (Low rise especially, but those are harder to come by these days) The reason being, having a jean that sits on or close to the hips gives us the illusion of a waist. Hope this helps!

I love jeans when they fit well. So far the only style that doesn't work for me are skinny jeans. I have short legs that are very curvy so skinny jeans are not only, incredibly uncomfortable but they make my body look irregular.
I’m probably and Apple. I used to be an hourglass. But not anymore. I love high rise jeans. I just bought some wide leg jeans. They are really long. So I’m going to have to hem them before I wear them. Low rise are not for any older women. At least not for me. I don’t mind a little bit of distressing. But I used to put my foot through the holes around the knee. I have a lot of pairs of Levi’s. And they are pretty comfortable. I wear jeans if I go out in public. But I normally wear sweat pants or cargo pants at home. Something comfortable and stretchy.

Shea can you pleaseeeeeee test Pepper bras? They're a company that claim to make bras specifically for AA, A and B cups and I'm so curious if they're good! But i don't wanna spend £70 on a bra if it doesn't live up to the hype 😂🥴
I don't think they're worth it- I ordered from the Uk and sent them all back- they weren't even that comfy and the wire digged in very quickly and cost £12 shipping and £10 to send them back

Love this but would be great if you could suggest some jeans for tall women I.e over 6 ft 1 please!!!!! I,m 6 ft 2 and really struggle to find anything that will fit
The average height for an American woman is 5'4". Any woman over 5'7 or 5'8 usually needs a "long" or "tall" in pants. I'm 5'10" and usually need an "extra long/tall", if it's offered, and it's usually not offered.
I feel your pain. I found a website for tall people called "American Tall" and they make tall (5'9-6') and extra tall (6'1-6'3) options for women. They also carry men's clothing. I'd recommend checking them out. I don't love their jeans selection, but I've never tried them. I've gotten other pants from there and like them very much. Good luck!

I have an hourglass figure….HOWEVER, I have noticed in the last 1-2 yrs that I have almost completely lost my a$$ 😩. I used to have such a great bubble butt. Now it’s practically a pancake. Any suggestions for women that have the same issue? I know pocket placement is key. I used to have to worry about my tushy looking too big…now it’s just the opposite.

I am a pear shape and the ribcage levis doesn't fit on my body because I am a pear shape. When it is not stretchy it can't fit on me. I would need 3-4 sizes difference on waist and booty with the ribcage fit from levis

I don't understand how anyone can wear their jeans so loose. 😬 I cannot stand the idea of everyone seeing a gap in my jeans, it just looks like I'm wearing pants that are too big. You look fantastic, always, Love! Personally, a belt is just required for me. (Regtangular-shaped, if you can't tell by this commment. Lol)
Oh yeh i agree, I'm a cross between pear and rectangle and one thing I hate is an extremely loose fit. I put a belt on jeans if they're not properly tight.

Things I look for in jeans: They don't dip in the back (which most do). I want a waist band that is slightly higher in the back. I also look at the zipper. Just because styles went higher rise doesn't mean that brands can get away with using the same small zippers as they did when the style was lower rise. That always results in the horrid "camel toe" and they look cheap.

UGH! Forever I was hoping the skinny jeans would go away way sooner than they did, as I was always a bootcut gal but the whole skinny jean fad forced me into wearing them & NOW their finally starting to go away. Mostly all I had in my 20s & 30s was Guess jeans & I really don’t like them anymore
