@@jasonlewis6584you misinterpreted the creator. He’s not going by what he said, he’s going by what IS. The temple is the bridge between all the 9 realms, as he said it doesn’t hold their weight. Don’t get mad because kratos can’t beat someone whose been power creeped all to hell, characters like kratos have a more interesting story because the creators aren’t focused on stupid shit like power, they’re focused on the actual story. I love kratos too, but go by facts, not by what you want those feats to be

@@savaory4217 I like how people forget that Kratos is based off of Cratus (whether intentionally or not), and is literally the physical embodiment of strength. Yeah, Hercules/Heracles is the God of Strength, but he's mainly just the God of Heroes. Kratos has infinite strength, and could easily split a planet in two (as seen in the fight with Baldur when their battle started to crack open Midgard and create a chasm). He only ever uses the amount of strength he deems necessary. How else would he be able to hold back Kronos and Atlas, yet struggle to open chests? As DanCo says, Atlas is able to hold up the entire sky, which is infinite. No matter how light something is, like a feather, if it's infinite, it's gonna require an infinite amount of strength to hold it, and even more so when you hold it up above your head. Yet Kratos was easily able to hold Atlas back.
Marvel Fanboys, am I right? And this is coming from a Marvel Fanboy who loves Thanos as a villain. But even I know that Thanos has much less of a winning chance against Kratos.

Also how well does Thanos fare again sky father characters like Odin? Kratos is above the creators of the universe. Capable of breaking the multiverse in his fights. Kratos' best speed feat is infinite. His weapons kill immortals. An arguem can definitely be made for Kratos in this fight.

Even though Thanos has been able to ragdoll Marvel Thor, it should still be noted that Thor has been able to beat Thanos. It should also be noted that Kratos has died but his pure strength and will power he had cheated death if I am correct 7 times now. It was also said in God Of War 2018 that the Greek gods are stronger then the Norse gods and Kratos had killed all of them. With all this in mind I would like to say that when comparing to Thanos and Kratos feats that Kratos would win but it would most likely not be a easy fight.
Edit: I just realized that even though Marvel Thor threw the world serpent, GOW Thor punched it so hard it went back in time to before it was even born which could be who knows how long.

It's kind of hard for me to take thanos seriously after the whole squirrel girl debacle.

The combination of Thanos' strength, durability, intellect, and technology makes him something special. He's tanked a point-blank scream from Black Bolt. Gone toe-to-toe with Galactus and Odin. Bitch slapped the Hulk and Silver Surfer. And there are versions of him that spit on Galactus and Celestials. Kratos is tough but not Thanos tough.
Except for he killed Odin killed Zeus. Killed Kronos whims power dwarfs thanos and the sky father gods. His strength and durability is quite literally unmatched.

Looking at how they both have done in battles against there Thors and i think its safe to say that Thor over in the marvel universe outclasses the god of war version just based off of feats alone like anything GOW Thor has done Marvel Thor either has a feat that is better or done a more impressive version of that. I dont think Thanos has ever lost to Thor even one time not even when he was amped by the power gem or when Thor had help like from the rest of the avengers. Meanwhile GOW Thor beat Kratos in the beginning of the game and technically killed him and because he wasnt allowed to kill kratos at the time he revived him. Now too be fair to kratos he was holding back because he didnt want to fight him. Thor even said as much. Still though Thanos has done some more impressive things like one shotting Silver Surfer and taking on Galactus and Odin so yeah the mad titan wins

The fact of the matter is, this was always onesided. Thanos is just on a completely different tier to anything or anyone in the GoW series, including Kratos. MCU is the only version that would lose here.

Thanos is nobody's joke I've seen him hold his own against Sky fathers and high level Cosmic beings and take a point blank scream to the face from Black Bolt.
Odin wasn't even trying on Thanos and tanking a blast from BB full scream is child's play but agreed he destroys Kratos.

Thanos is an Eternal and the grandson of probably the most destructive Eternal. Seems like people forget that or don't know and they're way tougher than the movie ones
Holding Titans fingers back is much less impressive than if they used their hands. I really don't understand how holding back a little pinch is supposed to be comparable to being strong enough to hold back the heavens and the entire strength of the titans. Genuinely if anyone could explain why holding atlas's fingers back is comparable to holding back infinity I would love to hear it
to put it simple kratos’ strength along with any attribute is either or suppose to be boundless, u may be asking how or where do i get this info but thats literally the entire point of those games along with the fact the game creators never seem to actually answer the questions regarding his strength because its suppose to be left to the imagination. no matter how much u try to dumb kratos down to be below these marvel heroes or villains, hes a game character who will always be more of a gag/unbeatable character who can and will always win whereas thanos literally loses to mortals and people who dont compare or scale amongst the strongest creatures or monsters to exist, only kratos lol.

escaping atlas or chronos’ grasp is merely a cherry on top of what kratos can actually do and as i said its not even a fraction of his actual power. im not gonna mention the zeus and odin thing but thats pre much like killing god himself. kratos is stronger than thanos in every physical and mental aspect along with IQ and durability, and someway somehow i believe kratos could beat him under way more crucial circumstances than tony( a mere human) ever did.

Kratos's Odin & Zeus are not Marvel comics one's. Just Google, the marvel versions are way more powerful than them. So the fact that Thanos in the marvel comics has taken Thor with the power gem ends all debate. Base comic Thor is 2 to 3 times more powerful than Kratos, also he has plot armour in his favour as opposed to RL player controller speed. Bet there aint many who have done a clear run an not died from start to completion. Btw if you on highest difficultly, fair play top gamer skills
