UNSTOPPABLE SAMI IS SO BADASS!!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 18 кві 2015
- Jerel has done one heck of a good job building his Samurai into a virtually unstoppable trail rig. It's light, geared perfectly, locked diffs, cut 44's and winch that'll suck this baby straight up a tree if the mud gets ultra nasty.
While it's not going to blow down on a mud hole and skim the pit, slowly but surely it will eventually pull almost any hole it goes up against. Pretty impressive!
Good Friday truck ride - Sabine River Rats, near Marshall, TX - 4/4/2015.

wow all the hatin negative comments... so I didn't see any breaking parts. Also driver was out wheeling instead of replying to all critics... awesome video, awesome rig.. keep it going!!!!!!!! I'm a chevy fullsize guy but this lil rig is baaaaad!!!!!!!
For sure man! We did some more recent wheeling with the Sami. Check out those latest videos on the channel. Sami was kickin ass once again
+rekjavicxxx I will... youtube is sooooo mud rich! IM GETTIN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!my truck is a 78 chevy 3/4 ton with 1 tons, 4 wheel disc, 4speed with granny, 4:56's, 40" hawgs... snorkel, blah blah blah... ord xover steering , blah blah ...hahhhahhhahhaaaits all about the fun.. but this sami has been in a mess of videos.. love it... keep it real and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Jeffrey Riggs Dang bud, you're no spring chicken when it comes to the mud! Really appreciate you sharing about your rig and checking out the Sami action :)
Jeffrey Riggs I will say this.......unstoppable?! Just gotta try a lil harder! 1972 Blazer w/ls-6 , 1-ton axles, 10" suspension 4" body on 38's SO I AM A FULL-SIZE fan as well. (5'10" 285lbs haha!) wheelin' till I die!
rekjavicxxx Hey bud , What kind of drone you filming these events with ?
Always loved this little rig. His tow ring weighs more than the sami..🤘🤷♂️😅
A perfect example of finesse rather than force. Nice vid!
I've been waiting for a video of nothing but the Sammy. If my engineering job pans out I will definitely be building me one. I absolutely love seeing that thing soldiering through the deep. Would love to build something huge like mega or mudbogger79 but most of trails near me are too narrow.
The new revolution is here, forget high horsepower mega trucks on v-treads. Four cylinder sami on 44s is the new king. Even saw mudbogger79 getting a joy ride in a real rig. lol
That sami is my love for life in mud 😄
hell yeah go the zuki all the way! power is only a number but if you got traction, you are king off the road.
When it finally emerged from the mud pit: HOLY GIANT SHACKLE!!!!
I love that he invested the money where it counts... tires. Racing in the Dirt cut Boggers = traction. Plus they are a butt load lighter than standard boggers.
That thing is completely incredible tire size to weight ratio he's practically floating on top of the mud
Sick! To think he has half as much in that thing as a lot of those side by sides out there. And it will actually hold up when you use as it was I tended.
that's a bad ass lil ride! I use to have one with 35s and it was awesome!
2000 hp trucks can't make it, but 45 hp Sami can. Lol
haha
Hey they have 62 HP..
@@mini4x 30 years ago, these are tired engines no matter how many oil changes youve done
If you don’t have traction nothing really matters
That has more than 62 hp
Bad Ass rig! I wish you interviewed him about it. I'd love some more info on it. Thanks for the vid.
Yes they are great, with tires and gears, those little bastards go anywhere.
The fact that he can't spin the tires super fast further proves its capability. It doesn't rely on momentum.
We riding with him today out at Xtreme. 🤘🍻🍻
this dude is probably starting a trend. next thing you know there will 3 of them then a dozen then everyone will have one
you gotta love the shackle on the back that's awesome
If you can't at least give this one a thumbs up, somethings wrong with you. Little Rig that could!! and the Jeep that could not! Gotta give creds when its due. Good job man!
the little rig that could!
Then the Jeep got stuck!! LOL!!!!
Great looking and running Sami.
Toyota axles FTW
if I'm not mistaken that one has toyota axles correct? reason why I ask I'm looking at a 88 model with 5.13 gears and a 6.5.1 transfer case but its on the stock axles and was wonder just how big of a tire you could run? I was figurong with good axles a aggresive 33 or a bald 35? or maybe a set of 34 inch terminators?
Where I'm from we use boats in the river!
😂
What is he running for engine and trans in it? It sounds mean!
luv tha zuki, luv tha bow shackle
Needs a bigger shackle on the back for more power and traction.
Man those tires are caked with that sticky mud
Just goes to show its not all about power but power is great and funner to have nice vids man been a great subscriber for a while now
william stowe gearings a big factor
Yeah I know I'm young only 20 but I've been around the block all my life
lol im only 17 and know more about vehicals then most people in my school
1111muddog not trying to be a dick, but your comment made me laugh, it's vehicles. :)
im not a good speller so i laugh with u
just ran across this video...I like the sami...imagine what it could do with cut boggers...
Does he have any kind of build thread anywhere? Like pirate4x4 or anything?
I'm a Jeep guy but Wow! Real LOCKERS TOO!!
Stock motor?
Are those 39.5" or 44" cut boggers? And glad to see he's got the Toyota 8" mini truck rears. Probably 5.29 r&p gears not to mention the tcase gearing. Love it. Its like a sleeper but for the mud. And he probably didn't burn shit for fuel that day either lol
Dan Beavers 44"
what a sweet rig!
Awesome set up!
there probably yota axles an with gears, lockers, and cut boggers that thing will go anywhere.......
We had a guy back home that had one on 35s. He would get so far out in the marsh none of us could even get to him if he did ever stick it, which was rare.
Is it even touching the bottom or is it just floating?
i wish i knew wht gear set up and axles he has
Yota axles ,529 gears , 6.5 case
Super Swamper TSL Bogger - B-101
it would be cool to see a video of what is done to that
I would love to own that vehicle right thur
thats the biggest d-ring shackle i've ever seen. how much does that thing weigh? 20+lbs? lol
I think that clevis hook on the back isnt big enough for the task at hand.
no fair its badass
I hate that it ain't a Chevy but it's badass little rig for sure. I like it
funny I saw a winch and tree?
What's the engine/trans/tcase combo?? Surely not the Lil 1.3 lol. I ask because I have a sami on 33's and can't decide on what engine swap to go with.
I've allways deamed about swapping a cummins 4bt into a samurai
1.9 tdi is a sweet swap
i put a artic cat thundercat 1000 triple in mine
@@craigengelman4534 u got any pictures sounds nice
@@paultrimble9390 sold it . when i found out i had cancer its really easy i cut the secondary shaft and splined it to fit transmission . let off gas change gear back on gas hold on thing was a rocket
I hope he's got a big radiator in that Suzi. Churning can lead to burning.
Well, if you absolutely have to own a Samurai, I guess that would be the one to have.
The gutless wheezing 4 banger noise would need to be addressed though. LOL
i never see samurai with bogger tires wow
I had one in high school with 31" boggers lol
If he had more air in the tires, he probably would have floated more.
hell, might add well air em up with helium
there is videos on here as well
Little truck that could.. i think i can i think i can i know i can
That thing just got cool wrote all over it
rekjavicxxx do you know the guy with the Sami real well????
I can't believe that engine can turn those tires
what motor is that Sammy?
so bad ass.
hell yeah
so bad ass its got a back up bad ass lol cool vid as always
Big things in small packages
This thing sounds like the "ricer" of the offroad world.
Looks to me he got stuck a few times
Would be even better with 2" more clearance in the rear. And shave off 20 lbs. by using a practical size tow loop in the back. js.
Maine Man He has the huge clevis in the back so it won't float up. samurais float on 44" tires and the rear will get lighter than the front because of the engine
he was stopped around the 5 minute mark
wheeles and tires are worth more than the sami but it does great
What I would call a toilet get a v6 or small v8
I had one the bigger trucks could not hang
what engine
PanhandleBrute sinkOrSwim stock 1.6 ltr
Please help. I would like to find this guy to help my sammy build.
cbw7cbw7 His name is Jerel Pogue. You can look him up on Facebook. He's out of Crosby, TX
rekjavicxxx great, thank you!
rekjavicxxx Who owns the second tin top?
Jerel we should hook up on facebook or something I have a sammy which I can play with the big boys
Crosses pond uses 100 gallons of gas
I have a 02 tracker with yota axles 2.0L with a 4to1 gear ratio with 39inch micky Thompsons I may be slower but by the fuck I go farther then the tractor tires in the bog
And I wish people would learn to install their winch ropes correctly, black sleeve goes against drum on first wrap. It's a heat sleeve to protect rope from drum. I see so many people do this and I laugh. You pay 400 plus dollars just to ruin it...
+Patrick Pedigo Thought the black sleeve was a guard to keep the cable from fraying when wrapped around tress, stumps, rocks, or whatever. Excuse my ignorance but how exactly does the spool heat up?
+Patrick Pedigo you're confused and thinking of something else. They are using it the correct way and not destroying trees.
44'' boggers on sami axles..lol!! so reliable ;(
yota axles. 6 lug
yota axles. 6 lug
yota axles. 6 lug
+Jeff Wasylucha there isn't enough power coming out of that little 1.3 to break anything
lol...I guess so. but those 44inch bigger are stupid heavy tires!
motor is not as heavy
