@SandInMyShorts a roots style blower can be geared to turn any rpm needed, also they make boost at idle and most blowers loose volume metric efficiency at high rpm. Where a turbo is rpm dependent...hence spooling, I think it's because most of these guys can't figure it out, gimme a bridgport a band saw and a tig welder and then a laptop to tune I'll get it done.
