Just saw your tour on Bob Wells….new follower as well. I wish you the best in your adventures and look forward to your future videos. Amazing set up! The whole van is just awesome!
Ditto, already have a short bus or I would be looking for a van (must be able to stand due to disabilities) so the bus works grea t for now but been looking for an inexpensive hot water tank setup for sink/shower in bus- excellent video, can't wait for more!😊
@@h.a.barker412 Thank you. I love Skoolies and that would be my first choice, they have way more character. But the straight walls of a box truck make it easier to build in.
You are literally the first person I've seen in over 5 years of watching nomad videos that use cedar chips in your toilet like I do. It's hands down the best medium to use in a toilet. It's also cheap. It is amazing for the smells (pine is the absolute worse and will amplify the smells).
Hi Ray! Just saw your van tour with Bob! You have great quality videos, ideas and information! New subscriber👍 Horse bedding pellets are great for anyone who is not separating liquids from solids and wants to absorb the liquid waste and prevent odors in their portable toilet.
Very nicely done. I just bought an old full-size van to camp in. I am going to start out with the 5 gal. bucket idea, but there is an Australian company called Joomla or something like that. They make a very nice small composting toilet (or can be used with a tank instead) for about $250. I like it a lot, and that seems reasonable, especially considering what you spent to make one. It has the advantage of a "shutter" to close off the solids container. Also, the urine tank can be capped so as not to splash while driving (I wish it had an exterior handle like the shutter though).
Get job with the build. I have a Boxio composting toilet. It might be too tall by an inch or two. Check their website for dimensions. It’s not particularly comfortable, but it works. It has a plastic stopper for the urine separator section that I drilled a hole through and tied a cord to it because it’s easy to lose in the middle of the night.
I have seen a shower setup i also like on Tiny Campers channel. Hot water in a black piece of piping installed on the roof where an awning would go. Usb chargeable garden sprayer with a spray attachment replacing the wand.
Fortunately I have some head room so I use an Evershower but in Sumer I set it up outside . I can recirculate the water but I can shower in 10 l so no problem to top up my storage tank

Thanks. I’ve seen Boxio- I might try that in my next rig.
Good design, almost ready for this step in my van. New sub
Thanks and good luck with your build.

Thank you for watching!
I love this!❤
Thanks!
Yup! A shower is everything! If you can figure out how to shower on a cold day while living in a minivan than I’ll really be impressed. 🤔
I now right. Need Planet Fitness for those days.
This is grrreat!
Thanks!
I wish you come this side to do my Van O! Lord ❤❤❤ I'm in South Africa
Howzit! And thank you so much.
Fortunately I have some head room so I use an Evershower but in Sumer I set it up outside .

Those are a great all-in-one setup.
😊👍
Thanks.
I'm shocked about the prices of the materials in US ... In Germany you'll get them as for half the price ...
Yes. Very, very expensive here.
So a cold shower
Yep. I’ll have hot water in my next rig.
