I think the better option than simply 'getting out' is making sure you've got options regarding global mobility and relocating while striving to spend most of your time in the place where you want to live most of the time. A lot of people can't just 'get out' without setting up a financial future for themselves in another country which isn't easy for a lot of people to do. I think the nomad capitalist has got it right as far as mentality here: no one place is the best place forever. Because things change so quickly these days, it's just not sufficient to pick the best place going right now and start making long-term plans there as if it's always going to be that way. If governments know that a people have settled on their country and will have a sunk-cost fallacy response to things changing for the worse, then all they really need to do is run a good marketing campaign and make short-term temporary changes to lure in suckers until they go back to their old ways. It feels like at this point you have to be prepared financially and mentally for a sort of gyspy or nomad lifestyle to live your best life and be ready to drop any country or other good thing going like a bad habit as soon as certain lines are crossed or better opportunities open up elsewhere. If everyone looking for a better solution could come together and had the right attitude, team-spirit, and were ready to take the initiative and work on board to build something new, we could make our own bloody country better than anything on offer for us all to live in.
How is the average family with 3 kids and a mortgage going to do this? Realistically? Sell the house and cars and just live out of a suitcase? Educate the kids online? It’s very confusing and very hard to work out what to do…
Enjoy your thoughts on various things...watched many, thanks. Question: Where's the best place to move? U think that Kingdom is safer/more insulated? ;)
We’re pretty comfortable here at the moment, that doesn’t mean things won’t change. I have noticed that Thailand has triggered to join the BRICS and done military drills with China recently. Thinking about Mexico and Colombia too. Really not sure just yet
Hello Dave we are not FB users but some presenters like you have in the description box an email address contact. You are a news hound and so are we and it would be good to be able to contact other than the comments. Did you see Mayer Tousi video of UK banks freezing customers accounts. New clause added to their conditions of use pretty much gives them the right to take over your account. Banks have sent emails to customers regarding the changes
Yeah, the forced bail in scheme. It was passed at the G20 summit in Brisbane in 2014. A lot of people will loose a lot of cash. I will look at setting up the discourse server again. People can contribute what they like then, without fear of banning etc.
@@TheOverseasExile can you do a video & elaborate further on this please? What does one do when they’ve sold up and all their funds are in the banks? Don’t want to just buy something for the sake of it.
Sorry buddy, I don't know if you have control over the volume sound of your advertisements but now I nearly lost my hearing. Let's hope this does not impact me in the future. Because you sound normal an all of a sudden the advertisement can break my ear 👂 🎶 I tell you this to make you aware that in this way people won't only listen to the advertisement but might get turned off your video.
Ionian islands have amazing beaches on my way to paxos! And Ithaca - cheers 🍻
Love the Ionian Islands!
Congrats on 2k!

I had a very similar conversation the other day. It’s really not easy at this point. I agree with you.
Spot on! Let's put money together and buy an island somewhere and build a country there!
I'm thinking along the same lines as you. Your ideas would work with the parallel societies concept.
