- This is quite a long video, but hopefully will answer ALL of your questions on how to print and cut for acrylics. Great Tutorial! Not only have I printed on the wrong side of my printable vinyl, I put it on my mat, cut it and cursed the whole time trying to scrape it off my mat after completely ruining the paper LOL it was a disaster..so yes, the peel test is a must for me now LOL

How do I print and cut white text with the printable vinyl sheets without a big offset I can’t seem to figure it out

so the rescue one, do you leave a backing on the letters or just flatten those? I did some today and have those big wobbles from having the bleed on. Thanks for this video I learned a few other tricks.
I usually remove the last layer as it is the same size as the acrylic. Then if I want an outline I can do and offset.

I’m new to this so I hope my question makes sense. To create a badge reel with zindee blanks & file, can I use clear vinyl ? Does the cricut print out the colors? Or do I need to use different vinyls? Or I print the photos on regular paper first?
No you can print directly to vinyl. Your printer doesn’t print white, so you would print on white vinyl. There is also clear vinyl which I use as well. Just depends on your image 🙂

Thank you for your video! I am having a hard time understanding the offset. If you offset it but then delete it before flattening, is it really doing anything? This print and cut has me about to pull my hair out!! Thank you so much for your help 😊
If you do the offset, this is how the Cricut knows where to cut, and it will cut close to the image so you don’t have a white vinyl outline. You delete the offset layer because you don’t need the additional coloring around the image.

Do you put the resin directly over the printed sticker? Or does something need to protect it?
I put it right over the sticker! I use CCDIY UV resin, so if there is a lot of white space I let it sit for a few minutes. You can see it start to change the white part, but if you let it sit before curing, it will go back to all white. Hope that makes sense!
The amazon link doesn't work. Can you tell me what vinyl paper to buy? Also what if you wanted the black background gone from rescue mom? Do you make it white and then cut on translucent paper?

I use HTVront white printable vinyl. And Weilu translucent.

Thank you for the video! I am enjoying learning Print then Cut. I am getting tiny bubbles on the actual Print then cut vinyl. I have tried useing the lighter lightly over the UV resin after I spread it over the front of my acrylic form. It leaves tiny bubbles even when I use the lighter. Can you help me? Thank you.
You’re welcome! I spritz 91% rubbing alcohol on the resin, this seems to work great for me. Sometimes it takes a couple of applications.

I’m a little confused. You created an offset on the highland cow and on the cookies and then you deleted them. Can you explain the purpose of creating the offset and then deleting it?
I created the offset to make the image smaller, but deleted the solid color layer. I have since learned to size my image down so there is a small margin around the vinyl. For a 2” image, make sure it is locked and size down to 1.96”.

A normal printer doesn’t print white. If you are printing on white vinyl and your image text is white then it should show as white once printed.
