Greetings friend from Cuba🇨🇺. Dude I just wanted to ask you a question and see if you could answer it. The issue is that I have a Ford Econoline E350 and the other day the technician added a little more refrigerant to it because when the weather was cool or at night the car triggered the compressor due to the low pressure switch. Well, as I told you, I add a little more R134a refrigerant and the car cools me very well, but I am very concerned that the compressor gets very cold and that it could be, I would appreciate it.
@@melindamarie6139 your rear AC located along the driver side near the back row of seats has a compressor that’s probably overworking itself. Chances are you need it replaced. I suggest setting some money aside and getting the van in a shop for service on it.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Excellent job and you just saved me a lot of money!
Kent Willey - Thanks that means a lot!
I’m gonna try it on my 1990 Econoline. I think it’s a little different set up but I’m gonna attempt to find that low port.
That compressor rattle sounds just like mine. Mines seized up the other day 🙁
Anybody know where the ports are on a 1994 E150 Ford Van? They're not as easy to spot as in this video for a '95 van. Thanks in advance for any info!!

Sorry Ronnel, I don’t know enough about A/C ton answer you. John
12 and 3, not 6 and 3. You said tilt between 12 and 3, but it seems you then tilted it between 6 and 3, or 6 and 9?
Is this safe/possible on the 2000 ford vans?
Just bought a 99 ford club wagon, coolish air in the front, hot air in the rear.
Any solution for this?
Thanks!
I have a 98 e-150 conversion van same thing cold in front warm in back im soooo lost!!!

@@xretroxvibex thank you!!! I have since gotten it fixed and am literally a very happy camper now!! 😊
How much freon do i add?
Doesn't that year require R12, not R134?
Nope, we double checked that. This model was built with R134 AC. This van was also built with a rear AC coil and fan running from a single compressor.
93 was the last year for R12 in the Ford truck line.
I believe most manufacturers switched from R-12 to R-134a for the 1994 model year.
