I keep reminding myself that Caitlin is 22 years old. Such a professional. I love how CC talked about being a good human and treating people with respect. Players and coaches need to follow in those footsteps. Caitlin has always praised past and present players in the WNBA. Congratulations to CC and Indiana Fever for an incredible first year as a team. Well done. Just a special note to Kelsey. Girl it’s been a long journey for you to reach the playoffs. Your loyalty to this franchise is unmatched. Thank you for giving your all to help grow the Indiana Fever team. Going to be a cold winter without you all in our homes. God Bless !!🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🩷🩷🩷🩷

This is an awesome young woman, so humble and well spoken. What an amazing rookie season! How she persevered through the constant mauling, uncalled fouls and being double teamed was a testament to her competitive and perseverance spirit.
I wasn’t a basketball fan but I am a sports fan and seeing how CC enjoys and plays the game is the reason I watch and appreciate athletes.

You mean the same thing men deal with 100 times over? Cant have it both ways. Thats one, and why isn't hypocrisy being acknowledged. Are people not allowed to call out the hate Caitlin gets? Its the people on the other side that started this. They wanted so much smoke before she even came in to the league, and now that she is annihilating everyone, Caitlin fans are returning fire, AND THEY WANNA CRY ABOUT IT. You got Reese allegedly embracing the villain role, then on her unhinged stupid twitter rant she says she was made in to a villain and doesnt like it. Reese is one example of many wanting it both ways. The gatekeepers would rather leave a whole lot of money on the table, and go back to the way it was (irrelevance) instead of embracing their literal meal ticket. The league and their players are trying soo sooo hard to make her conform and turn her in to some sort of activist - not going to happen.

Funny how conveniently people like you forget all the little gatekeepers talking their shi about 22. Now that they’ve been proven wrong and taken L’s left and right, they want to cry victim. People want to act like they can govern what’s said on social media. How about this, be an adult and ignore it. Men have been doing this whole sports thing in leagues that get infinite more scrutiny, welcome to the big leagues nerd. Caitlin please get some rest, you look exhausted .. The pressure that was put on this young women this year was unreal . All that was expected of her was to be perfect , She had to say the right things play a unreal amount of time on the court. Deal with a lot of National Media especially ESPN who found ways to rip on her. Deal with people like the UConn Coach saying she didn't have the game for the W. Yet found the time to sign tons of young girls autographs . Not many 22 Year old's could handle everything that was thrown at her. Yet she shined. CC go find a Island that doesn't have internet get a tan read a book and just relax. The League is better with you in it.

I believe there was only one “Flagrant 2” called all season and I believe that was downgraded to a “1” after league review. But you are correct, more severe consequences for flagrant fouls need to be considered. However, if the league doesn’t do something to address the horrendous officiating before next season, I think there will be a huge exodus of new fan support. The non-calls and one-sided calls witnessed during the Fever-Sun series were stunningly horrendous.

You are wrong, my friend. How can she be the best in the league when she has only played one season, and didn't win the MVP. Offense is supposed to be her specialty, but she wasn't even the best offensive player on her team let alone the league. She didn't even lead her team in scoring in most games; Kelsey Mitchell did. She only shot 34% from three and 41 from the field while Kelsey shot 40% and 46% respectively. Basketball is divided into two components- offense and defense. You can never be the best without playing both. All the great ones did.

Lets be real here. Do not put the cart before the horse.
The true haters in the league started in on Caitlin before she ever played in the WNBA.
Fans let it go. Then when the haters started brutalizing Caitlin on the court and the Ref's didn't do their job, Caitlin was a professional and let it go. BUT when it continued to the point of Kennedy Carter hip checking Caitlin to the floor, and again Caitlin let it go, the FANS took up her mantle.
So in conclusion Fix the officiating in the WMBA, stop the violent behavior and we can all get back to enjoying the games.

She still has a black eye- she is a warrior who focuses on moving forward, staying positive and working harder. Her answer to the internet troll posts was perfect - these are not fans of basketball, just angry people who want to tear down - whether it be tearing down Caitlin or others. Caitlin ignores them and goes about her business rather than focusing on people who are irrelevant and have no real impact on the WNBA or her. I guarantee that Caitlin has had much more troll hate thrown at her than any other player in the league but you do not hear her complaining about this or giving this credence. Caitlin is the only player who has actually had a basketball fan at a game call her vile names and attack her verbally courtside. It’s ironic (maybe not so ironic) that right after that in person attack occurred, there was a barrage of statements from other players about the nasty comments by internet trolls to try to flip the narrative back to them as a victim. Stop giving these trolls any play - it only invites them more. if there are credible threats or real concern, report it to the police (which I am quite sure none of them have) - otherwise, just block these trolls or set up other ways to prevent their posts (this is something that anyone on social media knows needs to be done to control hateful posts on their channel/timeline).

My observation/opinion on Caitlin Clark and some of the other WNBA players: She excels in Emotional Intelligence which is lacking in others who need to work on and improve their overall mental health. One cannot become unhinged with all that social media brings. Social Media is NOT real. There are people out there who purposely want to ruffle feathers and some WNBA players take the bait. Athletes are better off staying away from these platforms if it is hindering their overall psyche.

Very disappointed in the calls by the ref's 23 ft's vs 9 ft's for the Fever . Multiple non calls for obvious fouls and 2 games in a row the ref's call the foul on the wrong Fever player forcing Sides to use a challenge . I don't like the 2-1 setup for the playoff's , a team doesn't even get the chance to get back in a series at home if they lose the first 2 games . And with Nalyssa Smith not being able to play because it seemed like she was more interested in not upsetting her girlfriend then playing tough basketball .

Completely disagree that they want a Clark to leave the league. You could probably count the number that wants her to leave on one hand.
Hopefully the W provides media training to help them understand how this all works. You can’t stop trolls or racists or any other type of bad actors, all you can do is ignore them and not give them a bigger platform than they already have. If the players took a class to understand how it all works they’d be better equipped to deal with what’s out there. No one can deny it’s real, it’s about how to deal with it.
