I bought the key from ebay but the physical cadillac logo i bought from Amazon Coolsport 5PCS 11mm/0.43inch Car... www.amazon.com/dp/B08BYJHGCV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. And you can actually upload your own car image to the key as long as its 240x120 png

Awesome and informative video. How long does the battery last? If the LCD dies, you said the buttons still work. But can you start the car after LCD dies? Also, can you wirelessly charge the key?
I appreciate it! I've gone 2 weeks without charging it and no issues so im not too sure how long it actually last. And yes if the lcd dies the car is able to still be started with the physical buttons on the keyfob. The version I have does not support wireless charge but the Amazon version does

@@williejones8977 it'll definitely work with that key fob. But yeah get professional help from like a batteries plus shop and they should be able to get you taken care of
My vehicle already came with keyless entry/ remote start, etc. Only thing I needed to do was solder the wires to the motherboard. The obd2 adapter is solely for vehicles that don't have keyless entry from the factory
@@KiddCady thanks for your answer, my car does not have entry assistance I want to use the obd2 but the key does not detect it, the new key cannot be paired with the obs2, I do not know what the process is

Battery lasts about 2 months, maybe 6 weeks if you drive 3-4 times a day and use a lot of features

I had to sacrifice my panic button since the new key only has 4 functions. Just have to use the app on my phone if I need to use the panic button
