This ride goes fairly fast but it is a nice speed. Its actually quite relaxing. There is one main drop but everything else is just swinging out to the sides. It is such a good ride.
@GodessOfTheForest It's in the part of the park called Transylvania.. That's why it's called Vampire.. And the decoration inside the station is vampire themed
I went on it when I was ten in year 6. Now I'm going there again with my family. I was the only one laughing despite my fear of heights. Everyone was screaming as i was just giggling and wanting to go again
I'm going tomorrow I can't wait ! I think the queue goes down quick. Even if its an hour wait I still think it goes down quick. Drago s fury is the one where the waiting is ages. Log flum goes down really quick

This was my first roller coaster ever and i loved it.i went on it with my friend on a school trip. We only waited about 20 mins to get on. If you've never ever been on a roller coaster then go on this one as your first one,i was scared as heck but i ended up gping on it 3 more times.
Cant believe this ride is still going. It was built by a yank firm in the 80s. Some parks around the world bought including Chestington, but they didnt keep em running cos the track would stress too much. They all got scrapped. Chestington must be keeping that thing going to by a thread.
You really need fast passes with this place... The wait for this ride was over 100 minutes.. Amazing ride though. Love it! The only thing bad about this ride is how much it bangs your head! We went on 3 times and by the end we had a headache! :c
They changed the carriages....I remember it used to have sit in gondolas...that was in 2000....went there recently and they're now a completely different design
I've got to admit this is an extremely amazing thrilling, fun ride when you've got fast track passes. But if you're waiting for over an hour and a half it's not really worth it that much
@GodessOfTheForest I think its more linked to the whole "vampires transform into bats" myth and flying through forests as a bat more than anything else. Thats the link to vampires I've always made with this ride anyway ^_^
I'm going to Chessington for the first time, and I have a real problem with gettting dizzy on rides so do you think this is a good ride for me who gets dizzy A LOT!

Great ride and still a crowd pleaser after 21 years. if you get the chance it's best in the dark. Brilliant :)

i just came back from a great day out at chessington. This ride is so damn shaky and very jolts a lot but if you ask me it adds to the thrills!

It used to have gondolas hanging that looked like bats. .but they changed those to suspended seating where your legs dangle

i went on it yesterday and it was the coolest thing ever, but i did have to wait in a que for 1:30 hours but all are worth the wait

Chessington is for a younger age group, not many under 10's are tall enough to ride anything at thorpe park or alton towers.
Awesome I'm scared of upside down rides but this is like the nemises inferno but no upside down bits

For those complaining that this ride isn't scary: Chessington is predominantly a park for children. If you want proper scary rides, go to Thorpe Park.
if you never been on a rollercoaster this is definetly recommended for your first rollercoaster then move on to thorpe park!lol

To people say "this theme park is only good for children" then I must be a child at heart. I hate rides and this was a good training ground. :)

When i went on the ride, the swaying of the fast corners hurt my rib cage and right leg.
Been on this today weren't to bad queing up for 90 mins for it wasnt worth the wait!
