    It's all part of the process it seems. The majority of us seem to need to go through that I'm So Spiritual stage before we realise it's all unnecessary and move beyond it. Nicely put. Thanks!

    Thank-you for sharing about this! I had a similar experience a number of years ago but it was more in realizing that I had replaced doing these "good habits" for thinking I'm a "good person". Like if I meditated for an hour everyday I was "good" and if I didn't I was "bad" or "lazy". It's a journey I'm still on to let go of this kind of thinking fully. Feeling like life is a playful practice rather than so serious had been helpful for me.

    Thank you for speaking about this topic. I recently went through the process of loosening my tight grip on the rituals that were critical to my peace of mind and wellbeing through my healing journey. It felt unsettling at first, like something was wrong, but it is now feeling more like freedom to do what feels right and good throughout my day rather than what I feel I must do to stay on track. 🕊💖

    The mind is powerful. What are we allowing our thoughts to perceive. It’s a place out of the mind that where peace lies. The expansiveness. The nothingness. I see your point- if those “rituals” become “have tos” to be enough or to feel complete- simply means there is still ruminating feelings of not feeling enough or whole without it. Allowing the ego whether labeling it spiritual ego or simply just the ego is there to bring awareness where there are still limiting self beliefs of ourselves. It’s not good or bad. It just is. I appreciate you sharing this but one simply can not understand this unless they experience it for oneself. Tools are excellent especially meditation to silence the negative and positive mind to fully embody a neutral mind. Which in our day and age is a practice that continues to strengthen this aspect of ourselves as we are still living human lives with external influences and rate of change so rapid it’s hard for our nervous systems to always remain neutral. It’s called a practice for a reason. A practice of returning to a cushion or yoga mat takes a level of discipline and is an act of self-love. It’s how your mind chooses to bring meaning to it as one considers it a dependency. If it causes anxiety if missed then I would consider questioning the belief of self when missed. Give one’s self grace and compassion. Its an everyday practice.

      Exactly and dependency of any kind is rooted in externalising state of being. There's no good or bad at all, just a path. As we notice we are using what is outside to manage what is inside we are guided back to letting go of it all.

    many people think spirituality is about being positive but its about being consciousness it just becomes another aspect
    of escapism for many

    It seems to me that by filling one's life with arbitrary "Spiritual" rituals, that actually takes one out of consciousness and relationship with the outside world. This artificial reality, while creating a soothing cocoon, adds to one's own sense of displacement, isolation, and fear of any objective reality. Also, why are the most spiritually lost, often are the ones who have had the least life experience, and who grew up wealthy or sheltered? Many, if not most people naturally "find themselves" by being mindful of their own existence and their relationship to education and culture, and by actively experiencing the world in it's entirety, good, bad and ugly.

    inner peace and joy and love is are natural state of being its the disconnection to ones consciousness
    that strips this away the ego mind is running the show with its fear based programmes tied in with low state emotions

      @@zen_jungle my guy, I’ve been on a spiritual path years before you even created your channel. I’ve been a scholar of esoteric knowledge and Hinduism , Buddhism and Kemetic literature. You can’t dissolve your ego . Your ego is necessary.

    • @zen_jungle
      @zen_jungle  2 місяці тому

      @Kelly-pp1et your own ego is very active and has deep rooted beliefs. Whilst your learnings and experiences may tell you something that drives a belief set, your ability to dissolve the polarity of those beliefs and to become neutral is very much possible. What you personally believe will be your experience and while you are embedded in the absolute essence of "you can't dissolve your ego" that beliefs which is part of the ego you personally cannot dissolve will be your experience. Dissolution starts with an open mind and a willingness to let go of polarised opinion completely and indiscriminately. Whilst belief structure run deep and are both conscious and unconscious, for the most part they can be neutralised or dissolved. The semantics of to what degree leave us in a fruitless battle of opinion, which is all we have as absolute truth doesn't exist in any provable way. Allowing yourself to let go and remove the triggers associated with deeply help belief is the beginning.

    Have you eliminated all spiritual practices from your life now? How is that going? If not, which spiritual practices are you now engaging in?

    • @zen_jungle
      @zen_jungle  Місяць тому

      The suggestion here is not to eliminate a progressive practice thay is a tool for letting go. It is to realise that to become dependent on new rituals is not the spiritual journey at all, it's a belief in externalities to maintain your state of being. Whatever the practice or activity, if we become dependent and make it a ritual, we have missed the point. Our aim is to let go of subjective, limiting beliefs to reveal what we are and our connection to the whole in the absence of the ideas of self and other that separate us.
