    I would have walked right by that pattern and its icky colors, seeing no potential, but that fat-quarter bundle you chose is exquisite. So organic with lichens and moss and spotted rocks, it would be like lying down in leaves under a big oak during the late fall. I love the muted colors and you picked the perfect backdrop fabric. Thank you for an inspiring interpretation. I hope Daniela is watching this.

    I tend to only watch your new videos, but for some reason, I stumbled upon this one…#1 it’s a QUEEN SIZE quilt
    #2 it’s batik
    #3 it’s easy & quick
    #4 I LOVE IT!!!!!

    Hi Donna, That was a very interesting tutorial and I ended up appreciating--even liking---the end result. I was sort of leery about the idea of creating a quilt that one would hope to enjoy with such earthy colors. Nevertheless, I followed you along and was not disappointed. There is alot to engage one's eye; while intentionally befriending any unconsciously preconceived aesthetic rules to win the day. Thank you for broadening my notions of what can be successively embraced in quilt design. I hope one day you will create a few more quilts with this pattern but with other fabric colors and prints etc. Just for the fun of seeing what happens. 💜👍💖☺️

    I know these videos have a Like button but sometimes I think there should be a way to give them a rating because this one deserves 5 stars. I LOVE this quilt! Good evening Donna, Matt and your fantastic cameraman. I have watched an awful lot of your tutorials flower and you have made some stunning makes, but for me this is the one that i just love absolutely everything about it. I just need pillow shams to match now please ;D It is gorgeous and for some one who has a more traditional home of wooden furniture, it is just perfect. I love the pattern that you chose to make as well, as it shows off the materials differences and yet matches so well. That brown that you chose was to me, the perfect choice. Thank you for your skill and hard work once more, the generousity that you have is over whelming, because these things that you make are not cheap and not made in 5 minutes. They are beautiful pieces of art, that has had an awful lot of time, love, hard work and skill put into the making of each and every piece. Sending crafty hugs your way flower and thanks for sharing with us all, from Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland

    I purchased a digital Pop Art Cozy Design, but I do not understand what the numbers in parentheses are? (ex: background fabric, 5 strips (5,6,7,9,10,10) for border.
    I'm a fairly new quilter.

    • @jordanfabrics8380
      @jordanfabrics8380  3 роки тому +2

      The number right before the parentheses refers to the smallest size quilt that the pattern makes. The first number inside the parentheses is the next largest size and on up. So if you are making Popped Art in the king size you will need to use the last number so cut 10 strips for your quilt. I find it easiest to circle or highlight the number in the parentheses that corresponds to the size quilt I am making.
