Grace, your reaction to the pepperoncinis SENT ME. Those are pretty common in Philadelphia at least (not sure about the rest of the US) and I put them on EVERYTHING. Pretty much every sandwich. Lots of salads. Definitely pizza if I’m making it at home. I also just eat them plain. They’re a fridge staple for me.

You should do a Deliveroo roulette or something. Use a high numbered dice or number generator to choose items from a menu, you could even use it to choose which restaurants to order from. It would be totally random!

Is it common in England to eat a starter, main, dessert, and maybe side at every meal? Like especially at lunch, where I've lived, I feel like I see people eating main only. Even at dinner though, I don't really see people eating starter, main, dessert (without splitting portions of some courses) except in very fancy restaurants with a pre fixe or special occasions, which is essentially a pre fixe, like on a cruise.
It depends, if you're going out for a family celebration at lunchtime it's fairly common to get multiple courses (and then have a lighter supper, instead of a big dinner). However, if you're just grabbing a quick lunch then one course is fairly common or maybe a small dessert, like fruit or yoghurt.
