- On the lot right now is an incredibly unique 1970 Dodge Super Bee. Not quite sure if there's a nicer 1970 Super Bee anywhere! In 1968, Dodge watched as Chrysler sister brand Plymouth launched the Road Runner. Not wanting to fall behind, Dodge released their own "budget" muscle car. Based on the "midsized" Dodge Coronet coupe, the Super Bee was intended to be Dodge's counterpart to the Road Runner and was released in the spring of 1968, shortly after the Road Runner. Priced only $131 more than the Road Runner, the Super Bee became an instant showstopper for Dodge. After the first two years of production, 1970 saw a massive overhaul in the car's appearance. To differentiate from the Coronet, the Super Bee received a functional twin-scoop hood and a new twin-loop grille meant to resemble "a bumblebee's wings". This Super Bee is especially unique, given that it is equipped with its 440 C.I. V8 paired to the potent "6-Pack" carburetor setup. Going even further, this Super Bee has an original Hurst "Pistol-Grip" 4-speed manual transmission. The factory-code "Sublime Green" paint looks stunning, stretched out over a laser-straight body that would put a ruler to shame. With only one repaint, this car truly gleams. As the Super Bee was meant to be a bare-bones performance oriented version of the Coronet, the interior matches. The black bench seats are in original condition and they look incredible. The gauges are authentic Super Bee spec and are befitting of a racecar rather than a factory-built car. The wood-grain trim is also in fantastic shape, complimenting the rest of the black interior extremely well. In addition to the incredible performance options, this car is fitted with original working gauges (including the tachometer and clock!), an AM factory pushbutton radio, a working Super Bee ram-air hood, a fantastically original interior, a dual exhaust system, a working heater with blower fan, ventilated windows, and a defroster. This crazy green Super Bee rides on a set of exceptional factory-style steel wheels on Cooper Cobra RWL tires. This special Dodge drives like it just came off of the showroom floor, and it screams like a bat out of hell. This green monster is sitting on our lot right now, just waiting for the right person to let it back out on the streets to tear up the pavement again.

Now that's a badass car. Love it!!
I had a 1970 road runner I had painted limelight, original air grabber car, 383, 727 auto, mid sized cars then, my road runner was like a boat, but the rebuilt 383, 335 hp, was no match for a car weighing almost 4,000 lbs, but it had torque, it would melt the tires if you started out a brake torque, you guys bring back all my teen menories with your cars, when I was a teen, these cars were $1,500 bucks all day long, that was a lot of cash in the early eighties, love what you guys do.
A six pack is just a 2 barrel until you mash the pedal, then the front and rear barrels open simaltaniously with a linkage giving you six barrels, thus slamming your head back in the seats, I love it.
Love the cars from the 60's and early 70's. Currently restoring my '68 Pontiac LeMans, I had a '69 LeMans in High School Class of '88. I had 3 Mopars ❤️ as well. This one is a Beauty 💚. 52 here in Virginia, USA 🇺🇸
My favorite muscle car of all time.
The reaction of the boy with the sunglasses😂
Awesome 70 Coronet Superbee!
Yup! Very nice!
Always liked the front end, unless you're a rich collector the Road Runner would be a better option.Driver quality is best for the masses.
I love how that kid was NOT expecting that. Ha ha
"I promise we're not going to drive it again." 🤣
Non original motor hurts a little. Pretty rare car too.
that thing was trying to pull the tires off the ground lol loving this car
Driver: roasting the tires. Cop: "Do you know why I pulled you over?" Driver: "Because you wanted a closer look?"
Only 153 Six Pack Super Bees with 727s were ever produced, which was the lowest production Six Pack-equipped car in midyear 1969.
nice car , beautiful color .
Two bad ass Mopars 😍
You COULD get a vinyl top on a Super bee, and tail panels are different. Super bees have red trim ( like yours ) and coronets have black. They weren't done cheaper. 499 six pak 4-spd cars built. Your vin is fine... nice car
Correct, I choked a bit when he said you could not get a vinyl top. We have a 70 V code super bee. Top bananna, black vinyl , black c stripe, Ramcharger hood, 440 6 pak, 4 speed , 4:10Dana. Its been in the family for 40 ears. Not concours like this one but a great driver.
Teach them young!!
this is my favorites
Damn BAD ASS
Very nice car
Let’s address the fact that you are ABSOLUTELY incorrect…. 1970 superbees WERE ABSOLUTELY available with a vinyl top! The code is A55 on the fender tag.
Nice one
Awesomeness!:)
Like to see the vin#, fender tag, and build sheet.
Who cares... too many people wrapped up around 'is it real'

Imagine swapping the engine out for an electric motor 😢
