Three days ago, our family left our part-time home in Manila for our first visit to Dubai. We explored the legendary emirate by sea, air, and land. But now we’ve driven 75 minutes south to Abu Dhabi to experience some of the most magical parts of UAE culture. From sites and bites to a journey through the world’s largest sand desert and a night at one of the most awesome hotels on the planet.

ABOUT US
We’re the Lockwoods. And we’re traveling the world to experience-up close and in person-all the natural wonders and distinct cultures that our kids would otherwise be consuming only through textbooks and TV. We think it’s a better way to learn and we’re working hard to fund this little experiment in the hope that our kids will grow up wiser, kinder, and more grateful for the beauty of our diverse planet and its people.
Fam! So good to see you continuing with your worldly and culinary adventures. Stay blessed, cool, sweet and inspired.

“That kid needs a bath” 😂
💯😂😅🤣
Colt might have had fun rolling down the sand dune but now he has sand all through his clothes, How is mom going to wash that out?
At least it was not wet. Our son at age 7 or 8 decided to roll in the surf in Oregon. That fine wet sand was a nightmare to wash out. Didn't
dare put the clothes in the washing machine before hand washing a few times. The sand dunes in Oregon give us a tiny idea of what you are seeing.
I think that the fact that it was dry sand, made it so easy to shake everything off. I was actually really surprised that we didn’t have sand in our suitcase when we arrived back in Manila.
Did you pay for the room or is it sponsored? It’s important to say before giving advice.
We paid for all our hotel rooms. And we do recommend them. Great value for the price.
was just there last month and im already missing dubai/abu dhabi minus the food.... yeah... i dont like the smell and the flavor. even their plain rice has a flavor 😅😅
We loved both Emerites! As for the food, I think we all ate our weight in dates :)
Haha, I like only smaller, raw oysters as well 😂
They are the yummiest
I’m very curious that your children don’t have to go to school and have been traveling abroad with you.
Both kids are in a fantastic online private school based in the US and teaching students all of the world. We have a full page on our website that explains how our kids do it: followabc.com/school ❤️
Sorry... looking at the sign that says butt meat 😂
😂🤣😅
Mangrove… mangoes 😂😂😂😂😂
We will laugh about that for years 🤣
I can hear this song in my sleep
♥️♥️♥️
