- 8041b6 and 8041b7 f30 headlamp level fault on a f30 330d simply a common fault where the loom fouls the inner wheel arch and chafed wire causing havoc. quick repair of the loom and all faults are cleared using an @AutelTools diagnostic.

Great video. I have similar fault on my F30 2.0 ed. Mechanic unable to repair. Advised he will point me in direction of auto electrician closer to my next MOT.
I have forwarded your video to my son who has a 69 plate 420i Would imagine same set up. Mechanic told me getting work done by BMW would be mega £ I can show your video to auto electrician if there's a problem Thanks again👍
just got that code this morning on my 2017 340, going to check that first hopefully that’s the cause.
was not the cause will have to do more digging lol

I have the same problem however the right side LED round light is completely off but the left side is on
Do the headlights automatically try to move when you switch them on? Or do you press something to get them to try and level?
My f30 xenon headlight level sensor unit needs replacing how much would I be looking at to replace this
I have a similar issue as this video. I located the wire and spliced it back together but the beam alignment error is still popping up.
It there a fuse that may need replacing too?

wonder if there's any way manually to levelling up those headlight.. mine f30 as well
Aside from the manual adjuster screws on the headlamp units themselves, no theres none. No electronic adjustment aside from what programmed to automatically work.
Was it easy taking off the plastic to get to the loom? I'm having this problem on my F30 30d at the moment.
Yes it is once the wheel is off its straight forward

@@AvramAmericanu maybe footwell module.. it would need further investigation. Don't want to sound horrible but is the bulb you're fitting new
@@bazmeredith yes is new went to a eletriction he has put new wires cause the original has issues which was bad,so he fixed it working fine but when i changed the bulb again yestherday it didnt work no more i went back to the guy checked it for 3 mins then told me he cant do it today but he said the work he done is still fine but has to be futher work not sure what.. so by telling you that could you know whats the issue or what i have to do my self to fix please
