Anyone that screams nerf, tell them to land the delayed heavy route 10 times in a row to prove tournament viability. This is like true Kara palms with Yun in Third-Strike, incredibly challenging and rewarding, but you have to be an actual sicko to land it in tournaments. Love this kind of stuff, glad SF6 is getting some sauce.
Same can be said with rashid's manually timed ground bounce loops from arabian skyhigh Shit's SOOO hard to do but SOOOO rewarding (in terms of feeling lmao)
You can also use crouch after lvl2 as visual aid for the 7 frame delay to heavy blitz. The moment ed ducks you go into it. I think jab is more consistant tho
@@pedrobautista203 gotta just ignore all the kids born in like 2009 saying that crap. They've just not played very many fighting games for too long imo
I'm not sure by how much I should delay the heavy after Level 2, looking at the frame meter it seems to be about eight frames of delay but I've not managed to time that consistently at all during my practice. Also it seems that how high the opponent bounces on the first hit of Level 2 is dependent on how late you cancel the OD blitz into super.
I found a new ed desync route after the heavy blitz to get the desync do a light jab frame kill into light blitz do command dash and make sure it hits late into heavy dp then lv1
(Notations after heavy blitz) lp > 214LP > late hit command dash > 623LP > lv1 its not max damage (5320 dmg) but more consistent the light blitz would whiff sometimes but thats it
It's a frame kill. Basically the whole animation of the jab is enough of a gap to make the combo work, so there's no need for any manual timing. You just jab and then blitz right after.
Brian "I just wanna improve my DP's" F
Its actually nutty how sick capcom made Ed in this game
Unintentional... Isnt this the "emergent" gameplay people love?
Finally, he's Fucking SICK, and definitely worth a spot in future rosters, in case SF7 needs boxers.
Dudley is still cooler though
@@Djindas I mean yeah the dude with super powers is never gonna be as cool as the dude with just hands if they're equal in strength
this was definitely not something the devs planned for in advance
Fingers crossed he joins the cast @Djindas

I agree. It's very risky and ed already has alot of inconsistencies with normals for this to be a problem
They won't nerf this. This is is what fighting games are all about.
There's a good chance this gets the same nerf some other SA2s got where you don't build more meter during the super

maybe not kara palm level but this is indeed one of the more technically impressive techs in sf6. it's a crime that this game has so little of it.
If someone told me brian would become an ED main in the future I’d tell they were crazy lmao
Brine keeps reinventing Tengu stones
Years of Oro will change man.

jab is for the medium blitz routes, crouching is the sauce for heavy blitz
Brian uses the crouch cue already
I'm gonna die in the lab
Awesome that Ed has tech like this, very excited to see these combos in tournament play
Dude you're such a nerd
It's kinda cool
also wtf is up with people wanting this nerfed, is emergent tech scary to the modern FGC or what?
Yeah people are like I don't want to get hit by this or they want to do it no in between.
There’s a crowd of people who cry nerf the literal -moment- something unique is shown and we gotta learn to brush em off lol
@@pedrobautista203 my plat ass aint getting hit by this anytime soon... its lit to watch tho lmao

I don't even know why, it isn't that crazy
This shit is what maining Oro in SF5 does to a man
The techs people find with Ed are crazy!
I finally got the desync! Thanks for the guide!

It's 6-7. 8 would be too late. Hold down crouching during the animation and as Ed is crouching is when you do your QCB.
Yeah its 7 for sure
Can anyone tell me why I can’t get them to jiggle off the fireball

I can't seem to time the heavy blitz correctly
Nevermind I was trying to do it on Gief lol
Any tips? Im still having trouble lol
@joshsimpson7226 thanks a lot man! I'm gonna try that when I get home
There’s a fly on your wall Brian
Why do you jab before going into the medium blitz? Does it move you forward slightly?
It's a frame kill. Basically the whole animation of the jab is enough of a gap to make the combo work, so there's no need for any manual timing. You just jab and then blitz right after.
Soooo....Brian's an Ed main, right?
Why are they called desync combos?
Is this new, or newly found?
Wdym by that?
@@namelessiam7792 is this combo part of the update, or has this just been discovered
@@GamexHunter10 this has been discovered, ed has been essentially omitted from the update
These are character specific? Do these setups work on lighter characters like most of the women?
