In General law confessions cannot be used as evidence..... But in POTA 2002 confessions made to police officer can be used as evidence

Sir, in PEBL court can only go against the decision of executive not against legislature. In Due process court can go against both Executive as well as legislature. That's why upsc also has given in answer key Principle Of Natural Justice..
But you're also right there is no due process in reality in india
