I was 12 when the Falklands were invaded, and the task force was sent. The UK never ceased to be sovereign when in the EC, or the EU. Until the people who have done harm to our country are removed, the harm will continue. The lessons of 1989 are there to be learned, or ignored. The choice is before the citizens.
Wrong. To be sovereign means ultimate authority and the United Kingdom ... was necessarily not sovereign whilst a member of the European Economic Community/European Community/European Union. Also, how are you going to 'remove' the people who campaigned and/or voted for Brexit? That is assuming Brexit is the cause of harm.
@@jonathandnicholson Sorry that is bs. A detailed study was carried out by an independent review & it found that the UK is & has always been a sovereign state.
@@1inchPunchBowl That is simply not possible within the European Economic Community, the European Community and European Union.
@@jonathandnicholson Wrong, the UK had ultimate authority over its armed forces. Else the task force would never have been allowed to be organised, let alone moved. QED. The advocates of Brexit are principally responsible for the state of our country, and their removal from office and influence so that they can do no more harm is a priority.
@@ilokivi What are you trying to demonstrate? Anyway, the correct Latin term is ergo (therefore).
If control over our armed forces is the definition of sovereignty then during World War Two we were not a sovereign as Dwight D Eisenhower was supreme allied commander under the authority of the President of the United States. Similar for the Afghanistan conflict, both Iraq wars and the conflict in Kosovo.
Consider legal, national and political sovereignty. What was the Vote Leave campaign slogan: 'Vote Leave, Take Control.' Take control of what? Our laws, borders and money through elections.
