- I made my own electric bike frame from scrap metals
electronic parts in this project are from my old ebike that has hard tail frame and wooden battery box.

This is how videos should be made, no outrages speed or range claims. He just builds an E-bike goes out and hits 38 mph with it like a boss! Fantastic job mate! Much better than all the stupid clickbait videos out there! Much love and respect from Northern California! 🤘
Over 100-mile range with a 30Ah lithium pack and speeds of easily over 35 mph should you ever be chased by a bear. - Bike pics: prior to Oct 2019

Did you build that? Or are you trying to be narcissistic with somebody else accomplishments?
@@FarmerFpv That's what a hub motor on the right frame can do.
And does it with a stick welder too! Respect
Emmmm I think that are km/h🤷♂
Better than any ebike that I will ever build. Full credit!
Working with metal, sparks, and wearing flip flops is the most impressive part. Brave as heck and perfect at your craft. I love this bike video, genius.
Awesome! Best part was the welding in flip flops and Hawaiian shorts. Nice build!
I was convinced that I needed a metal 3d printer to make the electric bike I wanted (not happening anytime soon), this video slapped that toolbox fallacy right out of me ^-^
I tell you what great idea but I think you need a welder with out that your snookerd. But if your clever enough you can use nuts and bolts. It would take a hell of a lot. The ammout of steel he used this bike will be pretty heavy. So if he made it lighter in weight it would go faster then there his weight so all that is load. But great to watch it makes you want to get of backside and do that
Keep continuing watching DIY e-bike videos and you will be able to get a good grasp ob how it's made.
I'm willing to do obe but I don't have the funds right now to do so, so in the meantime I keep watching videos to expand my knowledge.
Making an e-bike build, simplified.
Thanks Albert Nario for being an inspiration. I might convert our bicycles which we don't use much into electric soon.
simplified???
No doubt this guy has the skills and just needs better access to improved advanced materials to produce an extremely nice end product
Loved your work Albert 👍🏴
Best arc welding I've seen - love the ingenuity of the design - respect!
Lol this must be the first welder you ever seen weld. The bike is cool and all but damn this man cannot weld to save his life. I can point out so many things that are wrong in this video. Starting with the damn flip flops. Smh.. You are not suppose to weld on paint. Grinding all those pieces down free handed is a great way to lose a finger or worse. Anybody can pick up a stick welder and bond two pieces of metal together. Which is this guy right here making the video. All in all still a cool ebike but damn take a welding course. Guarantee those welds dont hold.
The man is more electrician than fabricator. His wires, his 12 cell battery, all beautiful. But watching him for 13 minutes was like listening to nails on a chalk board. The bike statistically wont last. Will need constant maintenance.
@@1rr3l1vent8 ye you right
@@1rr3l1vent8 Stfu.. e-bike go zooom.
I've been wanting to see this be done for so long!
This is freakin awesome. Absolute genius. Wish i had the the tools and skills Damn that's nice.
I’ll bet you do this for a living you have a lot of talent man oh man .
Al, you are a star my friend! Very nicely done and a gift for all to follow your trail!!! Thanks for the knowledge and the idea!
Woow this is very well made very good job on the rear fork and damn that thing is fast!
You are 'just' a genious man...
Thanks!
Cloth glove, basically bare footed welding, comes up with a nice bike to finish. Well done man
Dude this is just absolutely awesome.. Congratulations on this super build.. those batteries look super powerful.. Cheers
I think I'll get some flip flops for my next welding job ; )
Your aSuch a finny guy You reslly crack me up dats so very true i mean he can be sent back home for bieng out of uniform no watch no pencil can drive a bus with out those two and needs low cut black water proff shock resistant shoes.
Hes out of uniform send him back home hes a working hazard to anyone around him can hurt someone like get burnt hit or drop da flame on a person or start a fire if he touches a paste waxed floor ddaaa let try to fixx da transmission boss da plane i can drive foward but cant turn oopps sorry

Rafael Santos you good bro?
Mate...way cool...clever man...God bless 🙋 💚
You are brilliant Albert. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
You've inspired me to build my own e-bike. Thanks!
That thing must weigh an absolute ton!
it explains why he needs 2 engines 😂

Que legal!! Uma bicicleta elétrica totalmente caseira.
Parabéns!!

Excellent job bud, and a good use of old scrap materials, I'm impressed with the swingarm design, nothing beats the versatility of good steel
Never saw the best use of a metal grinder from Harbor Freight and welder. Great 👍🏻 Build! Having mine built in the Ukrain for $5 grand wish I watched your video earlier. Fantastic eye for detail dude.
Wow! very impressed! Great job! I'm re-making my battery into a triangle config... trying to get my head around the wiring schematic and how much space i have though.
My favorite part about this is that this guy literally builds his own ebike with full suspension and takes it out on a test drive only to pass somebody on a motorcycle/moped.
Probably cheaper and more reliable than the mopeds.
No the thing is he build an Ebike, without spending close to 4,000$ which is how much a bike of that caliber would cost.
I spent more or less $700
@@albertnario4877 dude you are the king of diy ebike period
Exactly man, I tried to say that in my comment but some ignorant fools just didn't get it and showed me pictures of bikes 10 x the cost as trying to ridicule me for complimenting someone. lol
Awesome!
Bare foot welding, a true craftsman.👍😊🚴
excellent work, you are an iron sculptor, work of authentic professional, totally to the detail and homemade. greetings from Spain.
Dude that is awesome! Very inspiring regardless of the fact that you broke EVERY health and safety law in the workshop 😂 👍🏻👍🏻👊👊
Holy Soyboy BETA MALE snowflakes.
He is working in his own workshop, he can break whatever ''rules'' he wants to as long as he is not putting others in danger.
Супер! Красавчик, тоже когда-нибудь хочу такую сделать! Спасибо!
Wow an excellent e bike made by Pilipino.
Awesome!
Love the suspension!
Stick welding on the ground in gym shorts and flip flops.
I would not recommend it for safety reasons yet the end result is legit and effective. Anyway, the video was informative and that really is what matters.
People complain about it being to heavy. That would help keeping it on the road at that speed. Fuck them let em do better. Good job 👍
thanks, 😆✌️
exactly sir. mas delikado kung walang bigat yung ebike tas natakbo ng 60mph. hindi ata nila maintindihan yon eh. hehe
Great video. You sure know how to make e-bikes and definitely videos. Most of the videos I saw don't even come anywhere close to yours.
Nicely done. Heavy duty swing arm.
That swing arm and rear suspension weighs as much as my bike.
Pretty good dude, inspired me very much , what kind of cells are those ?
He's one hell of a welder to weld thin tubing with an arc welder!
Cool video
Great job bro, really inspiring vid, keep up the good work
You had me wanting to buy this up until u showed me your battery of choice
help do you know a cheap but efficient battery for a 1000w electric bike
Nope not cheap. But i dont think id be able to buy those u have. But your set up is nice
Bro, you have some serious grinding+welding skills here! I still believe you could've done a better job wire-brushing the rust off everything; but I also understand such a lengthy project could make you impatient to see it done and consequently burn through the steps a bit. Hey, we're all human :)
yes your right for that 😅, also I need that bike for commuting.
how about this one ? himiwaybike.com/
Things like this make me so good feeling inside make my day better being a bike builder myself from scrap out of necessity and fighting laws against me being allowed to use my bike on the streets where I live it's simple things in life you gotta appreciate like something as simple as an electric bicycle
Very nice bike ,,,, no polution ,,,,I am proud of you
13:21 the best part
you can do more than that..
Hi, what's the name of the application that marks the speed at the end of the video?
ulysse speedometer pro
👌
I personally think Albert did an amazing job. Yes, probably batteries used are not the best (he's on a small budget) so great respect from me. And make the battery box out of plastic. 👍👍👍👍👍
Nice. Mukhang mabigat, e bike naman. Panalo pa rin.
Your videos are incredible. I could not find your email address in UA-cam. How could I contact you for sponsoring your video?
Search his name in Facebook.
Why are you using so much metal it not a truck ,try using geometrical structure's it will be lighter and stronger and faster
Thats we call robust, safe and secure. It is better for me to feel secure and enjoy than doubt everytime i ride my bike. I have 5 Downhill bikes. I uses them on all terrain. From downhill, street dj, to casual city ride. I never doubt my bike being break or crack. So i just enjoy my ride
Exactly If build it properly it there is need to worry in the first place ,there are tones of ways to make a structure stronger without adding mass into it . if you see modern mountain bikes they are meant to endure a lot of stress and being light at the same time. there is no need to add material to feel safe .🙂
@@animateddropout8876 do you think major and sophistacated bike company didnt planned will? With all minds, multiple number of engineers and heads gathered just to make bike frames with advance machines and technology but still end up with cracks. Some even think using carbon to make frames lighter but resulted to instant breaks during race. Where as this man build bombproof with limited resources with simple engineer. If you think some weight saving help, tell that after some cracks and crash, i would prefer safer than sorry. Besides ,It will only differ some watts almost not noticeable. So why should he risk?
Carbon fiber it is known to be stronger then steel and being light it is preferred by every "every" automotive company for one reason only to save weight ( they know what they do and they ensure by testing and putting 10 times more stress that the bike can experience ) and not withstand crashes ,it is mainly designed to shatter on impact to keep the rider by absorbing some energy and dispersion and carbon is ur choice if u want to save a few seconds. But if you want to ur bike to last then aluminum is the way to go , and by adding more mass he is in greater risk as it will increase the stress in the joints and welds, making the welds want to snap when ever it hits a small bump in the road or a rock the weight will pull the bike down and the weight of the rider will act like a press adding the the stress and increasing the chance of collapse of the structure. For example imagine your high in mass and what will ur joints go through they will grind every time u walk or run and imagine ur joints
🙂 And it's not just some watt lost its some watt lost every second ( i design MTB'S I could make one which is way stronger and faster and efficient with the same material as him for even less cost and safer then his 🙂 thanks )
It doesn't even look strong
Thanks bro. I'm just building a swing arm for my diy motorcycle and this was an awesome inspiration.
Very talented fabrication with basic tools and materials!
Your no welder lmfao! No way that's going to hold bud. Great idea though 👌
kindly explain why? im also new to welding.
Great idea, get a life 👌
Now i know why we have schools and colleges.
You only learn fabricating things by hands on experience
My friend awesome job.. Thank you
That's one sick ride👌

Wow, great metal Smith skill set.
This guy is very talented. For instance its not easy to weld that thin plate with such a simple arc inverter like hi did. Not at all. Everything is made with basic tools. In short, hi made great job. I wish you lot of fun for ebiking. Greetings from Hungary
