I would love to live in Africa but I’m 70 years old and can’t find anyone to come live with me. I have a residual income and I wanted to get a house build. I have plenty money to take care myself just can’t find anyone that wants to live in Africa and I would pay for them too.
God has given Africa everything we need to thrive I tell you this in all the pain and suffering of the masses our gods love us look at the beautiful land and rivers mighty oceans and oh my hearts sings for Africa will rise and when she does there will never be any that will ever surpass her in beauty

This was a great documentary about many phenomenal traditions in Africa.
Benin is my favourite African country. The people are spiritual, proud of their culture and the traditions are very much alive and adapt to modern circumstances. Also women are highly respected. Vodun is everywhere. Can recommend a visit, I've been there 4 times and going back next month. Am now a Vodun initiate.

We do the same kind of net fishing. We call it toss net fishing. When we anchor a flat net in currents in gill net fishing. We do a lot of both because of the various fish. Even now in america we do this same fishing. It’s quite successful where allowed. It’s cool to see a tradition done elsewhere and what significance it has for the people who do it. This is a very family oriented group and family hierarchy. It’s very similar . We just live in like communities since our families aren’t here.
