I was so glad to hear about what you are doing. I was wondering and hoped you did not have any health problems. I’m probably quite a bit older than your wife but I too am facing one if not two hip replacements. I retired last December and it feels like everyday is Saturday just having the freedom to do what I want. The earlier you can retire the better. That way you can decide how little or how much you want to work. You are an excellent instructor and I would encourage you to keep making videos and sharing your talent when things slow down. I have started making concrete leaves and have really learned a lot. Made some really huge ones from elephant ears and Alocasia. Have friends wanting to buy them but they are REALLY a lot of work. Prayers for your mother-in-law and wish the best for Ann-Marie. People who have had hip replacements say it really improved their lives and they wished they had done it sooner. Take care!

I found myself nodding in agreement at my phone like a dope when you said you'd still be making small molds. Your workmanship is just too good to just completely give up the skill you built over the years.

Hi Darryl, its super great to see you still making time for some videos. I wish I had known about the forum earlier on to have had the chance to collaborate ideas with you. you are definitely missed on the forum. congratulations on the early retirement and the opportunity to travel (one day) Life and health are challenging so I'm glad youre getting the chance to make time for yourself and family now. I hope you still plan to put out some videos of your projects as you have in the past as you have been an uplifting, positive influence with all you've done. At a time where my health has been problematic, discovering your videos has given me some new ideas for my future. I hope you find the time to pop in to the forum once in a while to say hi too 😊

So nice to see you again! Tell AnnaMarie that I had a hip replacement about 8 years ago and I'd be glad to share the experience with her. By the way, it's good to do it and be out of pain!

Wow.... great to see you Gris. Hope all is well and you have a successful year. Best wishes for a healthy 2021. I've been trying to learn to draw and paint. I'll send you a pic of my latest. Well I guess that I should have watched all the video before commenting. Sorry to see your stepping down, but I am glad that your going to retire. Enjoy and have fun and stay healthy.
