Hey man, I appreciate you for being yourself and speaking your mind. I'm a big fan of Drug Church, and comics are an important thing to me, but I only recently learned by the grace of UA-cam that you're a comic writer. I'm in Knoxville, TN and we have a truly great shop here called Nirvana that is beloved by everyone that is lucky enough to know about them. They just won the Image Retailer Award, and I'm super proud of them and grateful they're a part of my community because the owners and staff are great people, can't say enough about them. If you're ever in the area I'd love to put you in touch with them and let them put a spotlight on you or whatever, just want to support you and your work if at all possible. I'm just a random dude, but I know what you're doing with your career(s) does impact people positively and makes a difference, for what it's worth. It's a bummer to hear you're dealing with some unsupportive or unhelpful elements at the moment, I hope that subsides and you immediately obtain unbounded success and wealth 😂. Thanks again for doing these videos, take care man
Thank you for the kind words. I'll stop by Nirvana if I roll through Knoxville. Some small city retailers blow my mind with how well they stay on top of their customers' needs.
I wish more star wars fans understood this perspective. acolyte isnt great but nowhere near as bad as incel fanboys make it out to be. A lot of what you have to say translates to almost all forms of media and i find it tasteful and insightful. your videos alway feel like a level headed and empathetic conversation. been following sdf for a long time, just be authentic and thoughtful. it's alway been your selling point.
Did you read Tom brevoort’s weekly email to fans? He spent the first five paragraphs talking about online criticism related to the poor choice of X-men font. He is tuned out and obsessed with Twitter criticism.
One one hand, I think it's nice that he is responsive to fan feedback. On the other hand, I agree with you that he's likely receiving a mostly worthless signal. Thank you for the question.

I'm not really in the comics fandom; I ended up here more or less by chance. But now you've got me curious. Who's insulting customers, and how?
