Singapore's 59th National Day is on 9th August 2024 and a series of rehearsals and National Education (NE) Shows take place to ensure that everything will be perfect on that day.
This video shows the 3rd NDP 2024 Rehearsal which is also the 1st of 5 National Education Shows. All Primary 5 students attend this parade as part of National Education. This year, Secondary 3 students are also invited to attend as they had missed their turns during the covid years of 2020 & 2021.

Lovely atmosphere in Singapore great celebration and parade👍😍👍😍
These are rehearsals for the National Day on August 9. We can't get to see the parade as these are ticketed (free tickets). However, we get to see the interesting activities that support the parade. The atmosphere gets livelier as we get nearer to the actual day 😀

A very impressive display. I think Singapore could invade and take control of New Zealand in about five minutes - we have a tiny, ill-equipped army and absolutely no combat aircraft. If you come, please bring some of those wonderful food markets with you!
New Zealand has the same population size as Singapore (5 million +). But your land area is huge by comparison. We will run out of fuel by the time our combat aircrafts reach your shores. Just kidding. Every male Singaporean have to go through 2 years of full time military training followed by Reservist training. Indeed we have the strongest military infrastructure in South East Asia. We have to be, or be swallowed.
Food is the favourite topic for Singaporeans. We have so many food places and food choices. Some places are open 24 hrs. I will charter planes to bring food markets to you. That's a (empty) promise.
For a sec I thought NE1 was Habourfront
Oh yes. NE1 is also Harbourfront. This week, NDP NE2 will be Outram Park. Haha!
