It's not the studio trying to push the blame on the talented here. But the talented people are always trying to compensate for the lack of time or talent around them. For example The Director of episode 13 of JJK S2 had to do the layouts for almost the entirety of his half of the episode (It was directed by 2 people) which is insane but he had to because he didn't have time and the studio didn't have enough talented manpower to push some of the work on. Another example is the Director of the Movie Look Back; he animated more than 1000 cuts by himself because the production committee wanted to release it months earlier than it should have been released in normal schedules. He said he slept in the studio for MONTHS working day and night. Talented people are EXTREMELY dedicated to their work. Especially directors.
