They were my go-to Flagship every year and they still would be had they not left the industry I had the V60

Hey you made my day with this LG phones video I think anyone who has had a LG phone finds it difficult to let them go. I'm happy you still doing videos on LG phones plus you showing the longevity of these phones can still battle 2022 and 2023 phones.
LG will be always missed in the smartphone world and no other company will replace LG in their creativity and innovation
Just an awesome video...great production and presentation. My main phone is the T-Mobile version of the V60. I use the 32-bit Hi-Fi QuadDAC everyday. My now-backup phone is the LG G8, which I basically got for free on a promotion.
The G8 continues to blow me away. To have a rear fingerprint reader and 3D face unlock are groundbreaking.
I do wish that battery life was better, but as stated, much better since the Android 12 update.
I use the V60 as my daily...and really love it with Waze, attached to a magnetic CD slot mount. The V60's 6.8" screen is perfect for a car nav.
Lg really inspired a lot of trends in the smartphone world pretty sad they're not still making smartphones today.
Great presentation, I've been a LG user since the Flex 2 after that phone I upgraded to the V20 which I use for it's Quad-DAC and recording capabilities. My current LG daily driver is the Wing which is a great performer and a head turner every time I swivel it open 😮... Thanks for the video!

I bought a V50 and a Wing back in July 2022. I bought the V50 because of Quad DAC audio and its detachable Dual Screen case. While the V60/Velvet/G8X also has Dual Screen case support, the V50's pogo pin solution got my vote. That said, I'm putting the V60 in my collection because of Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is still my top favourite Qualcomm flagship SoC to date.
As for the Wing, I bought it because of its gimbal camera manual control. While LG is not the first to put gimbal stabilizaiton on a smartphone since Vivo did it a year before, LG is still the only one who give manual control for the gimbal video.
LG v60 is my daily phone and it's still kicking butt. Charge my phone every other day....well after I run down the battery to 20%. Still great to use, and the dual screen turns heads. V60 is my beast.

I was looking at the S23 ULTRA but no QUAD DAC , no sd card slot , no 3.5mm headphone jack and it's expensive.

I been using LG phones since the Optimus 2X. I have LG V30, four years old,never done any hard reset.still working like the first day when i took it out of the box. Honestly i dont know what could be good replacement. I like 3.5 headphone jack and memory card,i need them. None of new phones have this.

I hope you redo this series of reviewing these phones again in four to six months. Probably G8 would be too old by then, though I feel SD855 would still be quite a capable chipset to run everyday apps with ease even in 2023. Maybe you can include LG Wing by then too.

I'm a big fan of all LG products and especially LG smartphones and especially the v60 and I actually have an old LG g6 and I'm willing to by the v60 as soon as I get the amount of money needed. I can't wait to get one !.
Still rocking all my LG devices I even had bought a S21 ultra for $275.00 in excellent condition used it for 2 weeks and I thought I was going to be fine but nope missing my LG V60 and even my G8 sold the S21U really not the same to many features missing for me SD, Quad dac I know it's not the same for everyone but I'm to old school to let go yet
One of the finest phones I've ever used. My last was G8x. If it had 90hz display, I'd have still continued using it.
I'm on my second LG V60 had 2 reasons to retire my first one the charger port went bad and couldn't charge it anymore plus I wanted to leave that contract the phone was on so I went and got a unlocked LG V60 and now I'm content I still have my screen case that works fine.

I currently have an LG G7, and it's still perfect, but unfortunately it stopped at android 10, otherwise it's perfect! And now in 2023 I'm going to buy one of these 2 LG devices as I mentioned!

PPI of 537 at 1440p, 2k display, headphone jack, expandable storage, Quad DAC sound, 6 GB of ram....its perfect. I paid 80 bucks...
Trying to update the OS through flash because its stuck on 9, which sucks, but other than that, its awesome.
Got the LG G8 elwhich has same same dislay and ram but oled screen and same price of 80$ too which is crazy to think about

I had to replace my Premier Pro+, and ended up with a Motorola G Power. There are so many features of the LG that I'm going to miss. Like being able to rearrange the buttons on the navigation bar (I REALLY miss the arrow).
the g8 camera from what i'm seeing here in 4k on my screen...i see some slightly more improved image quality in terms of sharpness on some of the images compared to the other two...and its keeping up at front facing with the other two as well.... LG phone are really really really impressive!!!

Still rocking my backup LG velvet 5g Korean version with no bloatware installed and I have added to my collection LG v35 Korean version with b&o play tuned quad dac my previous lg collection is as follows LG v50 LG g8x LG v40 and LG G8 and last was LG v60 all my LG phones were Korean version for the Asian market no US bloatware full of crap version that slows down the system performance

I hate lg will be eventually coming to an end . I can't imagine using another brand phone. I've only ever had lg's, flip phone, k7, aristo k8, g4 and now my g8. lg has ruined me for any other phone lol. glad your still making vids about lg phones.

idk about performance, but wing is definitely wayyy thicker and heavier

I have the V60 Dual Screen. There is no equal or upgrade path forward. Microsoft had the surface duo, but no expandable storage, weak battery, crappy camera, no DAC, no desktop mode. Samsung Fold devices are fragile and expensive with no expandable storage or headphone jack and the experience isn't the same. I want to upgrade to another LG V-series, but they gave up.
I just went and re watched the giveaway video. Hahah. I just caught the bragging rights part. I have the phone SicEricTec used. Hahahahaha dude that would actually be rad. I've been thinking about doing some reviews again. I need to try and get some more devices to contrast. I've always like and really Miss LG. I'm one that truly believes they will come back one day. Anyway. Finishing this video now.
Yeah the camera for video is why I hope to get one. I use 4xl now and it's pics are stellar but the video is not. I need to get my guitars to stand out more. Increase my light and get a newer device to see how it fairs for my little budget channel.

My v60 charging port is going bad takes 8 hrs to charge will be going to velvet to save up for pixel pro u can get a clean velvet for the repair price of a charging port will miss my v60 it's been a good phone to watch content on
just use wireless charging or just change the port.

at 6:38, which picture do you think represents true-to-life color? I personally feel the G8 produced the most natural tone.
Oh yeah, the G8 is really good! The velvet had a yellow tone, the V60 very natural, as far as color
@@SICERIKTECH V60 seems to have produced a yellow tone on some of the pictures. Especially your selfie on V60 looks to be prominently on the Iphone-like yellowish side.
Also, the stones at 6:53. I think on V60, those look unnaturally yellow but probably more natural on Velvet and G8. Only you can tell though.
The sky, however, looks more natural on both V60 and G8.
The pictures at 7:20 are excellent examples of each phone producing different types of images. The colors are identical on the flagship devices - V60 and G8. Though G8 has produced a brighter image and probably preserved more details too. On Velvet, the color is completely different. I suppose what you saw with your eyes was closer to what V60/G8 produced, right?

My lg v40 still does more in 2023 than my other friends newest iPhone. Lg has many " hidden" and quirky features its crazy. IPhone will never even come close. I purchased a v50 and v60 recently just to have when my v40 dies.
Is the sound quality on headphones way better like day and night difference considering the velvet doesn't have the quad dac feature

LG still hasn't disclosed any detail about it. At the moment, only the Velvet will get it.

Yes! The G6 is stuck on Android 9 I believe. The G8 has android 12, and a better display as well

It does. I upgraded to a V60 from a G8. My wife still has a G8 and takes amazing pictures compared to the just 'pretty good' pictures on my V60.
@@iclubsealz nine of the reviewers have made this observation... I like the ba3 of v60 but i will have to get another g8 back, since i upgraded to v60 i have not been able to take the same quality of pictures i took with my g8 before i sold it.

LG G8 came out in 2021 and with LG V60 and LG Velvet came out in 2022. Sure is a great price for 2021/2022 phones
