- I've been waiting a long time to play this and boy it did not disappoint, but of course I have problems with it, it doesn't really do a good job telling you what you're supposed to do (that seems to be a staple of hello neighbor games) and it's kind of a buggy mess but we have to keep in mind that it is still in alpha, and despite some of its issues I still really enjoyed this game and I'll definitely be playing Alpha 2 when it comes out, but with that said enjoy Hello Guest!

i was going to do commentary for this, but i thought i would do it the classic way and do no commentary, but anyway i really enjoyed this game! I'll definitely be playing Alpha 2 when it comes out!

I agree I seriously love how the models are also shaped. I attempt to draw everything I see in Hello Neighbor or Hello Guest because the cartoonish model looks so beautiful

I don’t know if his name was Quenton in this game, but he came into being as him, and the guest is also in hello neighbor 2, which leads me to believe that the hello guest game was like a first prototype of hello neighbor 2 considering the guest and Quenton are in it. It began with who appears to be a strange tourist at night venturing through the darkness, and stumbling on an abandoned amusement park that’s haunted by the guest, to an unfinished guest mystery mixed with the mystery of a village’s secrets as an ultimate journalist.
This game was supposed to be a Fnaf but mixed with Hello Neighbor
Obs: The right name is Quentin (It's not an offense)
This was actually a pre-alpha to Hello Neighbor 2. Hence why it got deleted from the app store
Hello Guest was actually the original concept for Hello Neighbor 2, but then in HN2 alpha 1 they changed basically changed the entire game and scrapped the Hello Guest concept, it was going to have 4 chapters and a final battle, alpha 1 was chapter 1 and then alpha 2 chapter 2 and so on
Literally half the video is this dude shining lights pointlessly on people..

I remember playing this game when it first came out on my crappy laptop, i still can't believe that this game came out 4 years ago. It feels like this game came out yesterday. This game is also starting to become nostalgic which is crazy.

though we did have to find the game through lots of research, it's mostly because of secret neighbour
i was one of the people trying to find the password to play the game, and in the end I did get it but it took me AGESSS
so the password is f0ac0f112a01a5c0aae735be1f9e18ab9e06a8911f9954746d96599c78a9..?
I think there is about eighty letters/numbers in the code and I can't be bothered to write it down from my saved files
so something along those lines is the password you can use on the thing to get onto hello guest (unless it's a real game now idk)

Good game but last Time i played this game on my laptop window 7 and it so slowly.Which pc you using?
the crow in neighbors house is the crow in this game interesting.
The game mechanics are in my opinion not very clear and close to impossible if you havent played games like this before. The means of beating the game are somewhat very not likely you would have thought they will implement. I have started to play some random escape games and they tend to do the same, so I guess it lowers your standard now of things to make sense and you end up analyzing that non sensical things might be the alternative route. Thats my take. You have to have a good amount of experience of escape games for you to understand that anything is not off the table. I didnt knew that at first, and the more I play this game the more I prove myself wrong. Like you have to use the fire extinguisher to fly yourself up or else you wont beat the game. Like what the heck, so that is how it is? I didnt even realize how unrealistic the mechanics are and I have to lower my standard for how to beat the game. But thats how it is. And it is still fun. Just dont get trapped by expecting too much about the game mechanics or you just end up like me, thinking theres no way they would use the fire extinguisher as a means to fly up.
yeah that's always been a problem with hello neighbor games, hn2 is looking to be much better though

Is anyone having issues with the game not responding after the cinematic with the guy in the coat in the car that grabs you?? I can't get past the cinematic to play the second half of the game cuz it keeps freezing here with "Hello Guest" in the middle of the screen.
Hello Jessica, unfortunately there's no second half of the game, that's where the alpha ends, to my knowledge Hello Guest was scraped and reworked into Hello Neighbor 2.

For future reference when making a "walkthrough" don't be wasting time on things that have nothing to do with the end goal. You could put up text stating why you are looking for the vandals and putting out fires but don't waste a lot of time doing it in the video.
It's actually the main part of the game if you don't take care of those things you will actually loose and have to start all over again, you also have to do it in order to get money in the game to get the necessary things to beat the game as well, I guess I could've cut it out but I wanted to leave it in to show how tedious this game is because it is pretty much the main gameplay of the game
