I'd love Ottawa's 7th pick for Igilna. Bruins don't have to worry about Ullmark staying in Ottawa beyond next year if traded there as he would probably bounce as a free agent after the year.
Ullmark has a 16 team No Move clause. Only so many teams are looking for a number 1 goaltender. He can easily cherry pick his teams and remain in Boston, at least until the trade deadline. Unless there is maybe one team that he would really want to go to. He has a lot more de facto leverage than just 50% of the teams…For example, he knows that Florida, Tampa Bay, etc., have great goalies and won’t be interested in him, so he can just leave them off his list confident that they won’t make a play for him anyway.
That’s true but it assumes he wants to stay in Boston where he might have a backup role behind swayman. That would impact his ability to earn his next contract. So he may want to go to a team that makes him a clean number one and wants to sign an extension immediately
Not only do I agree, but it's widely talked about that Ottawa is the second least desirable market that players don't want to go to (after Winnipeg). I could easily see Ullmark, who certainly would want to be and can be the #1 goalie on any team, say "I'm not going there. Find somewhere else." To top it all off, other than the first overall pick, this is a pretty weak draft so #7 doesn't have a ton a value.
If Boston wants this, would you do Linus Ullmark and a 2025 first (Protected) for Brady Tkachuk and the 7th pick this year? 1 player 1 pick gets exchanged. Tkachuk is signed until 27-28, Ullmark has 1 year left so they can experiment with him or trade him. Sens get a first rounder next year while we get this year. I like it a lot.
Yes. That's good. The pick going to ottawa would be in the late 20s. The bruins would crush that trade. Flip that 7th. I'd rather take Brady and chychrun for that package honestly.
Ullmark knows if he remains in Boston he will ride the bench maybe get 20 -25 starts- his value will decline as a free agent backup goalie. Ullmark needs to get a new location with a contract extension.
Super unlikely. If Ullmark is still on the team they are going to continue split time. Swayman also still hasn't signed yet. Trading Ullmark prior to signing Swayman is an enormous gamble that would give Swayman huge leverage.
it's only rumors, we don't know who is on his list or if he's willing to waive it now that we are in the offseason. NJ is a great opportunity and on east coast if that's a preference.
Im really hoping to see Bruins get Lindholm and Necas!!? If they could get the 2 of them thatd be a great start!!? I really like Necas!? Hes a great scoring winger and think he could be great in Boston and if i was him id want to come to Boston!? Bostons team/ locker room culture is one if the Best in NHL and lots of players would love to play in Boston just for that reason!? Im really hoping they can get Elias Lindholm and Necas cuz thatd give them a definate #1 center and Necas could stay as a wing where hes comfortable!? Itd be good to have Necas be able to take draws but i don't think hes really meant to be a center...hes better on wing i think but with some work who knows he could be a good center!? Having Necas on wing would probably be best and if needed he could take draws!? Im really getting tired of hearing all these rumors about bruins targeting these D men!? The Bruins dont need D!!!!?? They need a #1 center and a top 6 scoring winger/center and Elias Lindholm and Martin Necas would cover those needs nicely!!!?? Once they take care of the #1 center and add some more scoring to top 6 then they could maybe think about a D man!!?
Kirk. Why do you spend10 minutes chirping the same thing over and over when you can just sum it up in less than 2 minutes. Once you hit the 5 minute mark - I’m over and out.

completely agree!
Bruins NEED a #1 center period.
Yes and that's why the Elias Lindholm talk is so interesting.
I think it's important to pull the trigger before Calgary does to maximize the return.

What would it take to trade for , Bill Zito?
Draisatl or we riot! Who's with me? Can I get a yaaah!
Jeez, goalie bob made linus a peice of gold
Of the players listed, I would want the Bruins to draft Berkley Cartton.
Take that number seven pick and draft the player that is huge
Cole Eiserman could be a good pick if they get the 7th pick overall
get the 7th overall pick and draft berkly catton.they need an impact center and he is it..also resign debrusk and also tyler bertuzzi!!

Boston Offers: 1st Round pick 2025, 3rd Rounder of whatever year, Jake DeBrusk’s Rights, Hampus Lindholm, and Linus Ullmark…..
Senators Give Up: Chykrun, Tkauch, 1st rounder
7th pick probably enough to get Zegras
Necas is speedy but not physical and he is not a center!
7th for a 7th… (rd) take it or leave it
Neither was zacha till he became a bruin. Neither was geekie.
If ottawa trades there 7th pick this year for a goalie who will walk at the end of the season, i will officially no longer be a sens fan.
How do I get your nonsense to stop popping up on my feed
