Hi Peter great video, as always. I am curious, have you heard of Meishanju Antique & Auction youtube channel? If so what do you think? The English subtitles work well and they teach, Auction, and do some lectures. Personally, I love them.
Ebay could do with employing you as an authenticator of oriental art, , like they do for Chanel and other designer items in the fashion world. Its terrible those dealers, knowing they are selling blatant fakes. Good job done Peter.
We actually had an authentication service through eBay similar to the Bidamount Identification Assistant service but offered directly on eBay, sellers complained so much they just cancelled it after a couple months without even telling us. Unless it's base ball cards or designor clothes they do not seriously care.
Thanks for the info. What I noticed from looking this wolsist has almost 30000 feedbacks and 100% at that. Very odd considering they are all fakes. Not one negative. If I spent this much and got conned I would leave a negative.
Peter, Let’s be honest. Ebay is merely an internet platform and immune from liability. They could care less if everything on their site is fake as long as they get a commission. Further evidence is it’s extremely difficult to leave negative feedback. Thanks for exposing the sellers who are ‘intentionally’ scamming people.
Ahhh finally calling out wwolst12! When I first saw their items, some seemed authentic then they started pawning off these Ming vases that clearly are fake and if you have no problem selling fake as authentic I cant trust ANY of your items. They like to sprinkle in genuine antique items mixed with fake Chinese items. Joanies sometimes does this also which bothers me.

That just goes to show you that a lot of sales (>69,000) on ebay does not mean their pieces are legit.
