Hi. I really appreciate what you are doing. I saw this and was able to do it today. You are giving people actionable advice, and you teach it in a way that is very approachable and understandable. I look forward to your videos because I know I will most likely be able to do it and use it. In my view you are the only person on the internet doing it is such an easy-to-understand way. Please keep it up. It made my whole day today and I think it will in my next game and many more to come. Thank you. Please keep them coming.

I like how new specific techniques is being identified for today's faster games. Just like how Crosby started popularizing the Mohawk before it became common today.
I used to attend powerskating camps when I was in BC and during those times there was more emphasis in tight turns. But the problem with tight turns was that it compromised speed and is more tiring.
This glide turn doesnt seem to lose alot of speed, is less tiring & can cover more space.

There is a cost though. Keeping the glide going means that it's not that tight. If you want to tighten those turns, you have to slow yourself down. We do that with the Punch Turn (modern), or by slowing with a partial hockey stop. That's the difference between a "Glide Turn" and a "Tight Turn"... one has an element of slowing, one doesn't. If your Glide Turn is too tight for the speed you are going, you can blow a tire and fall. This feels like a new video! Glide Turn, Power Turn, Punch Turn, Jam Turn, Tight Turn, Punches... are they different? Are they the same? lol. I'll get to that video next week!
