BTW, this is a very well done, and much needed video on repairing vintage Yamaha ATV front brakes. Just what I needed when bringing a 94 Kodiak back to life.

Just leave the wheel on and remove the center nut. And just rotate the drum to align the hole for the adjuster

My Kodiak manual says to tighten the pads solid against the drum, and then back off 3 iterations with the screwdriver.

      @@airbiscuit5101 I have a 2000 Big Bear 400. I wonder if it's the same procedure.

Next time, don't use the jaw puller.. Rent a hub puller from autozone..Fits perfect on these hubs, and you don't have to worry about messing up the wheel studs or the axle shaft.. The hub puller is only 25 bucks, too.. It's also made to pull these hubs, unlike the jaw puller.. It's OEM TOOLS Part #27037 You were lucky your quad lived most of its life with the dust caps on the axle nuts.. I have had some that seemed to have the hub rust welded on the axle.. You would never get one rusted up that bad off with a 2 jaw puller like you did..
