BUDDHA QUOTE "O monks and scholars, just as a goldsmith would test his gold by burning, cutting and rubbing it, so you must examine my words and accept them because you see reasons in them, not merely out of respect for me."

It is instructive to note that the 2 religoins Hinduism and Buddhism never persecuted each other while they existed side by side in ancient India. There were debates, counter debates but no violence ever.
Compare that to the other 2 religions: Islam and Chrisitanity who have fought wars for centuries!

you must be deluded, study history and then talk. brainwashed hindus kings like shashank and others, persecuted buddhist monks encouraged by kumarilla bhatta and sankara. sankara said to enter buddhist home is a great sin. read the puranas. how can compassionate guru encourage such hate just like koran say to kill kafir. they are invented later not before even bhagavat gita is influenced from buddhist view. sankara himself is hold buddhist views yet disguise himself as hindusim. thats why later scholar like ramanuja , and likes accused him of being buddhist in disguise coz he teaching contradicts the creator god. shunya does not nilhism. it means interdependence. there is no absolute. dalits were the actual buddhist thats why they were considered untouchables. buddhist had to pay extra tax for being buddhist in india just like dhimmi tax of islam.

7:30 Dalai Lama sneezes, and humorously says to audience “now you have some of Dalai Lama’s holy flu!” :o)
8:00 “What happens if compassion lacks honesty?”
also: “when is a ‘white lie’ acceptable?’
11:00 “If I attain liberation through my own efforts, why do I need pujas (sp?)”

He was vegetarian his whole life until a ripe old age but became jaundiced, he eats meat (probably very little) for his health. If everybody did this there would be no problem with eating meat.

How much does the CCP pay you?
Buddhism advocates that if the peaceful methods do not work, then to utilize the forceful methods for the sake of all sentient beings.
In the early Pali texts, monks qua Arahant self-immolated. You are just completely wrong.
Lastly, you are committing the no true scotsman fallacy, as Buddhist monks ARE and HAVE been self-immolating.

You don”t have to force to anything if you are enough intelligent and positive person. Otherwise negative person sees every thing black and complain to others. More study ok
