  • Is this the smallest PWM receiver? Probably!! I show how to mod a Happymodel EP2 serial receiver to output PWM. It's only 3 channels but that's usually enough for small planes.

    Do you know if this can work with betafpv 915 nano receivers?

    • @1nformatica
      @1nformatica  22 дні тому +1

      Probably yes. On the EP2 the GPIO Pin 15 is used to enable boot made so the pad is available to solder to : ua-cam.com/video/pkhymye5W8E/v-deo.html You would need to see if the boot button on the BetaFPV 915 uses the same pin. If not soldering to the GPIO pin on the processor is an option! Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    To show my total lack of knowledge about these things ..... Is it possible to do the same pin mod and program them to output S-bus plus 1 or 2 PWM channels at the same time. Somewhere in the boxes here are a couple of Radiomaster mini ELRS receivers like that. The Junior Brains Trust hasn't had the time to sort us Old Farts out there yet!
    If so, that's 1 more way to put a brushless motor into a brushed toy with S-bus/DSM satellite sockets. 🤔😊

      Well yes / maybe!! You can select CH2 to be serial Tx at which point CH3 will automatically change to Rx and cannot be changed. So you can have SBUS or CRSF on pins 2/3 and still PWM on CH1. CH4 &5 would be possible for PWM (I think) IF you can solder to the ESP8285 pins 18 & 19, there are no pads on the board I can see. This is beyond my megre soldering skills!!

      @@1nformatica 😂We can't even claim that excuse since most of us are banned from booze by the quacks! 😉
      S-bus "brick"? Usually FrSky/Flysky/Radiolink S-bus mini receivers with the Radiomaster TX16S 4-in-1. There are 2 Radiomaster ELRS mini receivers here somewhere waiting. RP1 and RP2 I think. 1 has that little ceramic antenna.

      @@theoztreecrasher2647 Sorry, my bad! I meant the DSM/SBUS "brick" usually with servos that you want to connect to in the model......

    Great! If it showed RxBt not 0 in telemetry, it would be even better!

      For some bizarre reason the ADC pin is not present on the processor. Both pins 5 & 6 seem to be removed on the EP2. There maybe other similar receivers that have the pin. Thanks for watching, have a great day!

    Great tip. What about MATEK ELRS-R24-D can i do the same with it ?!

      You're welcome! I see no reason why it should not work with that receiver. Only difference is it has a reset button instead of a pad which will make soldering a bit more challenging! Have a great day!!
