One thing is for sure, Samdish is the catalyst for these interviews, without a person like him the whole interview could have been a normal flat interview. Most of the interviews we see with directors or stars is when they need to promote their movie. But here Samdish is genuinely having a conversation with the guest. Amazing Interview !
I think even Anurag didn't want this interview to end. This was simply the best interview I have seen even from Samdish! Genuine conversation between two people who are actively engaged without any ulterior motive.
Every aspiring journalist, filmmaker, actor, politician...in fact, every person should watch Samdish's interviews. This guy brings out an ocean of knowledge from every dimension!
Thanks Mr Samdish for bringing Mr Anurag Basu coz i know him and met him through a common friend in 2005 and happens to be from same city BHILAI and he is a really excellent man and a very humble and down to earth person.

Congratulations to both . Anurag Basu is an inspiration and knowing his story made me respect his work even more .

I don't know whether you would read it or not samdish... But I am so much grateful to you for this.
I Never knew about his health issues he had. Also got to know about Mr Bhatt as we only see negative things about him. This video made my day.
Loved the interview... I almost forgot that it's an hour long video... Looking forward to seeing your new videos
Basu is one of the few directors you want to listen discussing cinema , the grasp he has 🧠
What a beautiful and humble soul he is, the true simplicity in his nature is what made his art unique!
I feel so sad that Basu da was in Bhopal, I was there climbing down the stairs of a restaurant, and he was climbing up.
I just gave him a nod with a smile and he reciprocated, and I could not recognise that.
3 days later, I read in newspapers that Basu da was in Bhopal for shooting Ludo.
I hate this moment of my life.
Really thanks for Vasuji for sharing his experience about cancer.
People must know because we don't know else can face this. His experience must give courage to people
i have some few favourite directors including him..but he is one of the favourite human being...
Thank you Samdish yaar. I wasn't totally head over heels for this interview but i watched because you've done this, so there has to be some reason. And am glad. And respect for Basu Sir. We never know what happens behind the scenes.
